(12oz bottle) Medium off-white head atop a clear amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, cookie. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, some cookie, light metallic. Light-medium body, light acidity. Not bad, but lacks the characteristics of what I think of as a marzen.

Bottle from Total Wine in Roseville, CA. Pours light amber with a foamy off-white head. Sort of a burnt caramel aroma. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is pretty much scorched caramel with a little grassy hop. It’s drinkable, but it’s not to die for.

Bottle... Clear, golden lager with a small, creamy, off-white head. Excellent retention. The malty nose is full of butter and caramel. Well-balanced flavor is mostly bland with just a hint of caramel carrying over from the aroma. Medium-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Crisp, lightly bitter finish.

Bottle @ home picked up at Wilbur’s Foco. Clear dark orange appearance with an off white head. Sweet caramel apple, floral, light grassy, fruity aroma. Fairly sickly sweet, light veggie, tangy, grassy flavor. Fairly off and a waste of time.
