It was okay. No pumpkin or spicy fall flavors. A little bitey and bitter.

Pours a medium amber color. Aromas of roast malts, caramel, and a touch of spice(nutmeg?). Flavor has a nice smooth sweet roasted taste(honey roast peanuts). A little bitter on the finish.

Bottle from Food Stop Rockville. Hazy amber light body with medium head. Nose is of barley, malts. Taste also malts and some hops and sweet caramel. Creamy texture. Okay.

This one is underrated. Surprisingly rich and sweet, if not entirely authentic for the style. Strong malt backbone and sweet finish.

Orange/gold pour with white head and lace. Aroma is sweet corn and light earthy tones. Flavor is sweet corn domination and some floral notes on the end. A touch of bitter. Just too much corn for me. A slight hinto oxidation as well. Aggressive carbonation and a bit watery at the end. a drinkable beer

12 oz. bottle from a friend’s house party. Pours a mostly clear, somewhat deep copper-orange with a finger of off-white head and some visible carbonation bubbles. Notes of caramel, sugars, light toast and straw, grass, a little spice, and some deep earthiness, giving it a more German character than many of its American counterparts. But it doesn’t come together as smoothly as many, either. Light-medium bodied, with medium-sharp carbonation. Decent.

Caramel wheaty aroma. Light wheat with a hint of citrus. Thin on the tongue with a late taste of spice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Bottle @ RVA 22nd. Lightly hazy light brown. Smells wheaty and lightly citric. Sweet.

12 oz single bottle from Biggie Wine & Liquor into a pint glass. A slow, straight pour results in a clear, golden amber appearance with a fluffy off-white head and average dissipating. Mild aroma hinting at toffee, corn, cooked veggies, toasted grain, caramel malt and light earth. Similar flavor, corny, veggie, earthy, light toasty flavor with a bit of noble hop spice. A bit off and hard to drink overall.

Robe ambrée peu de mousse. Arômes de céréales et caramel. Moyennement longue en bouche. Octoberfest médiocre.
