3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 ounce bottle. Pours a reddish brown with a small white head. Aroma of sweet fruit and florals. Taste is prickly pear (I guess), citrus, malt, and florals. Unique and interesting. Might be too sweet for more than one at a sitting.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This beer’s aroma is sweet and citrusy, and the color of the beer is a brownish orange with nearly no head. When you taste it, however, you realize the aroma is a little misleading for predicting the taste, for the beer is only slightly sweet and slightly sour but quite strongly umami. The palate of the beer is a weird combination of an abrupt finish, a flat carbonation, a thin yet sticky texture, and a medium body, but it isn’t necessarily a bad weird.

Hints of cherry. Pear is a bit overwhelming for me. Just not my style but ok for what it is

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle thanks to Mysti: Pours a dark ruby red with a thick white head and decent CO2 release. Aroma of of fruit, cherry, kind of like a fruit punch. Fruit aroma dominates with little else apparent. Taste is sweet and slightly bitter on the finish. Nice fruit flavors but nothing overpowering. Pretty smooth, bubblly and relatively easy to drink. Interesting offering but I could not drink more than one in a sitting. Great experimental brew.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
This one was kinda hard to rate. Good overall brew, nice amber color, nice taste. At the backend was like a citrus, though I’m really not sure, finish. I like it now but if I want more to try it again or then again it might be a favorite. Really confused on this.... :)

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
What an unusual beer, and some interesting character. The prickly pear was hard to describe, and possibly hard to separate from the Citra hops, but its not clear the hops contributed much. The fruit was a combination of some sour citrus (lemon, grapefruit juice), something vaguely tropical (pineapple, guava), and something vaguely related to apple (green apple, pear), and something else altogether different. It featured prominently in the nose and flavor, and contributed a light sweet and sour component that blended well with a fair if unremarkable base beer that was light amber malted.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dark brown very clear pour. Little head and no lacing. Citrusy and malty aroma. The prickly pear flavor is very interesting and not over powering. German style malt backbone. Not bad.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear light amber with small light brown foam head, lacing to glass. Aroma is sweet pear, taste is quite unique. Bitter and sweet pear are fighting to win. Short aftertaste. (Velp 201301)
