UPDATED: JUL 30, 2015 Mom picked up a variety case while visiting my Uncle in Texas. This is the best so far. A summer brew with a hint of grapefruit and ginger. Kinda tastes like a Ruby Red Squirt, just a beer instead of pop.

Bottle to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; a mostly transparent golden orange with thin white head that dissipates into thin lacing pretty quickly. Smells of an odd but inoffensive blend of lager yeast, ginger, and mild grapefruit. Tastes like it smells with a slightly tart light to medium light-bodied mouthfeel. Not bad, but not good either.

Aroma of a gingerbeer shandy with a hint of grapefruit. Pours a reddish orange with no head and minimal carbonation. Tastes like a gingerbeer shandy with a medium to light body and a chalky aftertaste.

Light copper, highly carbonated but no head. Tastes like Shiner Blonde with a spritz of grapefruit juice. I find it to be a bit offputting, but then again, I never like fruit beers.

Light refreshing and slightly fruity smell, taste is light ginger mostly, smooth and refreshing, slightly bitter finish that detracts, taste is light but good!

Appearance: light orange-pink-yellow, a few bubbles but otherwise no head. Aroma: grapefruit, light cereal grains, some floral honey. Taste: crisp lager with a grapefruit injection, and under that a thread of spice. Finish: clean, but with a bit of lingering ginger heat. Notes: Actually found this pretty enjoyable. It’s no great shakes, but it’s unique, easy-drinking, and has a decent character to it. Draft at Hill Country BBQ in Washington, DC.

Gotta give em points on this for brewing a unique beer. Still not great. The grapefruit and especially ginger are barely there, but it is refreshing. Crisp but weak mouth, still.

Golden yellow, no head remaining. Grapefruit aroma and taste present, but not overwhelming. Fresh crisp taste. (Dallas 201505)

Can to glass, poured a mild golden color with no real head. Sort of fizzy, but no head. Scent of grapefruit is mild, just a faint hint of the ginger. More ginger in the taste, less grapefruit. Pretty underwhelming. About halfway through I dumped in some peach tea, it cut the ginger nicely, and actually made a pretty decent poor swiller.
