2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Is this a beer or a beer-type-drink. Fun to drink. Would love to pound this on the beach like it was a Bud Light Lime. Sorry Texas, this is my first rate of your state. Pours pale amber with a quickly dissipating head that is more akin to Coke (hey we in the South) than beer. Scent is all ginger. Taste is fruity ginger ale. Thin and bubbly like the aforementioned. Fun, but not really a beer to me. Bottle - Housewarming Gift from Skip

12oz bottle...lots of grapefruit and ginger in a fizzy and refreshing summer beer. Not an outstanding beer by any means, but decent enough on a sunny day.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. It’s a clear, golden colored beer with a minimal sized off-white head. Lots of ginger on the nose, and some citrus. Not much else going on due to the amount of ginger. There’s some malty notes in the flavor, caramel and bread, with ginger, citrus and a little bitterness. Medium body, nice carbonation level, and mostly dry on the palate. Some bitterness and faint notes of metal in the ginger dominated finish. Way too much ginger I think, why do so many breweries fail to make a subtle ginger flavored beer? Of course, because they don’t want to, but still. 130829

My mother-in-law poured me a bottle of this over the weekend while at the beach. Ginger and grapefruit come through. Light and refreshing. Perfect for a hot summer day.

Hint of ginger and grapefruit. Light body and very light mouthfeel. Very refreshing, extremely drinkable. I really enjoy this as a sessionable summer beer.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle - not really any head, medium reddish gold color, definite grapefruit and ginger aroma and flavor, with the grapefruit up front and ginger at the end, fairly sweet but not overly, would be very fitting for a hot summer day outside

Appearance- Clear golden orange with an average white head
Aroma- Nice citrus grapefruit aroma, malty
Flavor is very summery/tropical. Big ginger start, nice red grapefruit finish. not sweet but not too tart either. My new favorite summer beer.

12oz. bottle poured into a pint glass. Pors a clear amber color with a fizzy white head that faded and leaves no lacing Smells of grapefruit and ginger. Tastes of both things as well with a light hop presence. Mouthfeel is light and watery with good carbonation. This is a decent summer beer the grapefruit and ginger could have been mor prevalent though. Worth a one time try but its nothing special.

Take off your beer pocket protector and hatred of all things light and try to enjoy this one on a hot day or after a long hike. This beer is light and citrusy. It is clean on the palate and as stated is now my go to beer post a hike (or during). This beer will not win any awards, this beer will turn off hardcore beer nerds, but it’s fun and imminently drinkable. The flavor is reminiscent of fresca and the low alcohol content (4%) means its sessionable. A perfect beer for summer on a lake in Texas, which is probably why they made it.
