Appearance: light orange-pink-yellow, a few bubbles but otherwise no head. Aroma: grapefruit, light cereal grains, some floral honey. Taste: crisp lager with a grapefruit injection, and under that a thread of spice. Finish: clean, but with a bit of lingering ginger heat. Notes: Actually found this pretty enjoyable. Itís no great shakes, but itís unique, easy-drinking, and has a decent character to it. Draft at Hill Country BBQ in Washington, DC.

Gotta give em points on this for brewing a unique beer. Still not great. The grapefruit and especially ginger are barely there, but it is refreshing. Crisp but weak mouth, still.

Golden yellow, no head remaining. Grapefruit aroma and taste present, but not overwhelming. Fresh crisp taste. (Dallas 201505)

Can to glass, poured a mild golden color with no real head. Sort of fizzy, but no head. Scent of grapefruit is mild, just a faint hint of the ginger. More ginger in the taste, less grapefruit. Pretty underwhelming. About halfway through I dumped in some peach tea, it cut the ginger nicely, and actually made a pretty decent poor swiller.

Poured at minor league ballgame. Light grapefruit aroma. Some malts and very light grapefruit a in the taste. Nothing special but good for a game.

One of my faves for refreshment. Ginger notes are dom over the grapefruit but it is what it is a nice spicy beverage that Im glad is being made all year round now.

Pours a pretty light amber color. Looks like apple juice. Very fizzy. The head is magical, itís there and poof itís gone.

Nose is very gingery. Smells like ginger ale. Thereís a little grapefruit in there, not a lot.

Tastes like ginger ale. The taste is not very citrusy. Itís very watery, very light.

Moutfheel is very light. Itís extremely drinkable. But the thing that surprised me, is the spiciness at the end. Like I said, very water, but very refreshing.

Overall, I donít like it. Yes, I know itís a fruit beer, but itís really not very good. Refreshing yes! But if it had a little more body, it would help immensely!! Nothing much more to say. Itís okay. Is it worth it? Absolutely not!! Drink a ginger ale instead.

bottle.pours clear amber with a small white fairly lasting head that leaves some lacing. Aroma of ginger and grassy hops. Light body, lightly bitter, flavor reminded me of ginger ale with a backbone of malt and a light bitter finish.

Grapefruit taste but not overpowering. Something great for a warm summer day. Very refreshing.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber body under a minimal fizzy off-white head that quickly faded. The nose is fruity and sweet with some distinct grapefruit notes and some light ginger. The flavor is a little thin overall, with some light grapefruit and just a minimal note from the ginger. Under the fruit thereís a little toasty and slightly sweet malt. Mouthfeel is a lightly clingy with minimal fizzy carbonation. Meh, not a winner.
