Faint but nice aroma of grapefruit, ginger, hops, spice and grass. Taste is a little boring but still enjoyable. Cool ginger flavor! Finishes sticky and slightly fruity. A for interesting. C for effort.

A perfect summer beer. Low alcohol. Refreshing. Grapefruit and ginger flavored are noticeable but not overpowering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. bottle. Pours a thin, short lived off white head, over a slightly hazy, gold (SRM 5) body.....nose is grapefruit, light cereal malts, no hops, balance to the grapefruit.......taste is slightly sweet, with heavy grapefruit, minimal hops, light cereal, finishing with hints of ginger.....mouth feel, light body, no alcohol, high carbonation. This is a light grapefruit dominated beer, that is almost grapefruit soda pop. The base beer is quite nondeScript. It is really a fruit beer. BJCP 6/2/10/4/5

Pours a clear golden with a touch of ruby. Normal head volume, poor retention and no lacing. Nice vibrant light nose of light sweet grapefruit over biscuit. As it warms, ginger comes to the forefront. Light body with a texture similar to water. Superb carbonation with a bit of effervescence in the middle and a finely bubbled prickly finish. With more intensity and complexity the flavor profile would be outstanding. Light grapefruit and ginger roll across the biscuit base. Middle bitterness is only a hint. The finish does deliver a nice burst of ginger and a nice spicy heat. Beef this beer up and it is an outstanding contender. As is, it’s a good lawnmower beer.

Very acidic citrus taste and light on any beer flavor. Grapefruit aroma was the best part. Finished drinking it because a friend was very excited to hand it to me. Bottle.

Clear amber color, with a non-existent head. This essentially looks like slightly carbonated green tea. Has quite a subtle smell with the grapefruit being surprisingly subdued, at least considering my expectations. The label also notes that there is some ginger added - which is definitely noticeable. Overall a gentle, yet easily appreciated scent. While I thought the ginger was fairly subtle in the smell, it utterly dominates the taste. The grapefruit is noticeable, but does not steal the show as it is subdued by the ginger, besides making an appearance a second or two. The carbonation is quite heavy, with both the hops and malts being lacking. Easy to drink, hard to love.
