Had once on tap but couldnít rate it. Bottle pours Amber some head. Aroma has a slight grapefruit tinge. I remember this tasting much sweeter on draft. Still a good summer beer. Light and refreshing.

At The Rustic. Pours bronze, almost no head. Aroma is sorry musky old fruits. Taste kinda gross mold and some light dirty hops.

Light, crisp. A little bit of malt, citrus zest, and spice. Still, thin and a bit artificial. Maybe good in a hot summer environment.

Bottle: Poured a golden clear with carbonated bubble head that dissipated fast. Aroma is sweet citrus fruit. Taste is thin watery with citrus fruit and grainy finish.

bottle - This beer has a very small, quickly disappearing head and a mild ginger aroma. Itís bubbly and sweet with a ginger led flavor accented by mild citrus. Light bodied. Just okay.

Catching up on some old ratings from Untappd -- First rated on 26 May 2011. Had this a few times and my recalling evokes nothing but pleasant memories. I always drank this beer in sunny and hot Florida, and that is really what this beer is suited for. It is very effervescent and refreshing. Great beach beer.

12oz can. Poured a golden color with a larger sized head. Yuck ... lots of ginger and spiciness that just didnít agree with my tastes. A few sips and down the drain.

This was more like a soda than anything. Strong ginger ale aroma with some citrus. It had a pretty clear copper color with a regular head. Highly carbonated and light palate. More of the same in the way of taste. Ginger soda with some grapefruit notes. A little sweet but not very beer centric. I think Iíll leave this one alone.

Bottle on 07/02/2011 courtesy of MaltDawg. Clear golden body with a small frothy white head. Sweet ginger aroma with some light fruit. Ginger and fruit flavor with some dry graininess in the background. Medium body with high carbonation.

Appearance: Orange with copper highlights under a fizzy seltzer-esque head that fades into nothing. No foam, no lace, no collar Ė nothing. Swirls with nothing.
Nose: Sweet rolls and Hawaiian rolls. Sweet ruby red grapefruit juice followed by generic citric esters in the back. Candied lemon and grapefruit cheweable candies. More sweet than tart.
Palate: Prickly spritzy mouthfeel makes the top of my tongue tingle. Watery pink lemonade and watery ruby red grapefruit juice. Very quick and miniscule finish of generic citric rind bitterness. Generic white crackers underneath.
Final Thoughts: Nothing special. Itís supposed to be brewed with some kind of Texas Rio Red Grapefruit Juice and ginger but unfortunately the grapefruit is watery and the ginger is non-existent. Moving on.

Bottle. Dull umber hue, ginger ale soda aroma, taste, sweetness. No evidence of grapefruit, let alone the reputed Cascade hops. Drain pour.
