This is a refreshing and well balanced summer beer. Good lawnmower thirst quencher. Mild lager backbone with a pleasant citrus/bitterness from clearly present grapefruit and a more subtle ginger finish.

Very acidic citrus taste and light on any beer flavor. Grapefruit aroma was the best part. Finished drinking it because a friend was very excited to hand it to me. Bottle.

Clear amber color, with a non-existent head. This essentially looks like slightly carbonated green tea. Has quite a subtle smell with the grapefruit being surprisingly subdued, at least considering my expectations. The label also notes that there is some ginger added - which is definitely noticeable. Overall a gentle, yet easily appreciated scent. While I thought the ginger was fairly subtle in the smell, it utterly dominates the taste. The grapefruit is noticeable, but does not steal the show as it is subdued by the ginger, besides making an appearance a second or two. The carbonation is quite heavy, with both the hops and malts being lacking. Easy to drink, hard to love.

12 oz bottle- Pours mostly clear golden with a crackly white head that reduces immediately leaving a flat looking beer. Aroma is fake citrus fruit, generic beer, sweet. The taste is odd citrus with cigarette ash, weird beer, grapefruit is there, but tastes fake, ginger seems like it doesnít blend well with the beer at all. Poorly made.

Pours amber, head lasts a bit. Aroma strong red grapefruit, different from citrus hops. Taste is mix of sweetened grapefruit and baking spice.medium carbonation but thin.

I poured it from the bottle into a pint glass. The aroma is strong on ginger. The taste is ginger with some grapefruit. Itís crisp and somewhat thin. Itís a bit too sweet. Itís not bad. Itís a little too sweet to be a very refreshing summer beer though.

12 oz. bottle. Aroma of ginger. Taste of ginger and grapefruit. I donít like grapefruit anyway, and now I donít like it in my beer.

Bottle from Capital Market. Medium amber/brownish in color. Nose is mostly ginger, with a bit of sweet fruitiness. Light ginger with a little bit of grapefruit juice. Some graininess as well. Not too exciting.

Pours a crystal clear golden color with a fizzy white head. Faint grapefruit on the nose. Wet mouthfeel. Thin, fake grapefruit flavor.

An alright beer, but I donít think that grapefruit and ginger mix very well. The ginger seems to over power the grapefruit so quickly that any harmony is disrupted. With that being said, it is refreshing and not offensive by any means.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy bright orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of slightly tart grapefruit, lemon, lime, ginger, pear, cracker, bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of grapefruit juice, ginger, and pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of slightly tart grapefruit, lemon, lime, ginger, pear, cracker, bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Slight herbal spice bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, lemon, lime, ginger, pear, cracker, bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a very short bit. Good balance and solid robustness of grapefruit juice, ginger, and pale malt flavors; with a good malt/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Good amount of dryness after the finish as well. Medium carbonation and light-medium boded; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly bready mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish after the finish as expected of 4%. Overall this is a good spiced blonde ale style. All around good balance and solid robustness of grapefruit juice, ginger, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.
