3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20Pours a clear, golden straw color. Head is 1/3 inch and white. Lots of bubbles rising throughout, head retention and lacing were average at best.
Beer smells of sweet citrus and some straw malt. For some reason I’m getting the aroma of Sprite or 7-up. Ginger or cinnamon is also detected.
Taste is unique, part mexican lager, part fruit flavored malt beverage ie: Smirnoff. Ginger is probably the most dominant flavor in the beer. Light, crisp malts are also present, hops are not. Alcohol is non existent.
Mouthfeel is light bodied, crisp and well carbonated. Head didnt contribute to beer, grapefruit left a bitter citrus-y aftertaste
Overall this was a good, light, thirst quenching summertime beer. Definitely unique with the ginger/grapefruit combo. Wish I could take a growler of this to the pool, great outdoor/patio beer.

Quite sweet, and drinkable, but not so annoying, some aromatic spots and interesting looks there.

Bottle--it’s not a drain pour, but with a little work they can get there. Soft, well, ruby color with short lasting head. Some fruit aroma that I would even say was grapefruit. Taste was tart with no malt or hops. Tangy and undesirable finish. Total Wine.

A fruity flavor with an aftertaste of ginger. Orange amber in color with a white head.

Bottle. Smells like herbs, spices, and grapefruit. Definite ruby red grapefruit flavor. Slightly spicy. Light body and medium carbonation. Decent flavor.

Crisp and refreshing for sure. The tart and mild sweetness make for a tasty combo. Great session beer and very drinkable after a long day at work. I do wish for a bit more malt character but overall, good beer.

Draft here in NYC finally. Bi deal! Watered down fruit ish type beer with a flat body and pretty bland flavor .

This is an alright brew for the summer, but nothing to write home about. Taste is a light grapefruit, but not even enough to be considered a true fruit beer.
