This is the clearest palest beer I have seen. Yikes! Smell is sweet and doughy and not very inticing. Flavor is light and sweet dough with such a high carbonation it almost seems tart. The mouthfeel is so bubbly - it is hard to drink. Actually has some flavor - but just a preferred style of mine but I can see that this is drinkable.
SamAdams777 (33), Abilene or Stephenville, Texas, USA Aug 20, 2008 This is one damn watery beer, but for some reason I enjoy them. Sort of reminds me of this craft beer from belguim i drank, which was said to use the same 300 year old recipe. It was suppose to be beer that sailors drank(not rum =0) Both could be described as drink while you work beers. Much like like a clean refreshing glass of cold water, with this wiry beer flavor splashed in. Best friend hates it, but I dont. bhensonb (2830), Woodland, California, USA Aug 16, 2008 Bottle from the Coop in Davis, CA. Pale golden color with a fizzy white head. Aroma of grain with a hint of hop. Thin bodied with mildly fizzy carbonation. Flavor is grain and imaginary hop. Just a bit zu leicht. SSSteve (1487), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Aug 7, 2008 very pale gold under a small fizzy white head. typical grainy aroma. flavor is the same. a little sweet, a little bitter. crisp, drinkable palate. refreshing as water. nice, easy carbonation. KAggie97 (1884), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA Jul 31, 2008 Bottle. Pours a stupid clear yellow with an aroma of short-bus corn. Flavor is weak copper and mineral water. Watery mouthfeel. This stuff should only be given to people you hate. agillespie81 (100), Denver, Colorado, USA Jul 6, 2008 Very light golden color......head fades quickly. Extremely light aroma of malt. Light flavor up front......crisp mouthfeel. Light flavor continues in the back......finishes light. In short, you could say this beer was definitely light all around.
