2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Short white head on top of an opaque straw color brew. Bit of a barnyard aroma dominates malty sweetness. Flavor is slightly bitter with a malty, biscuity, chewiness. Finish is clean and crisp.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy yellow in the glass with a thin white head. Aroma is a bit weak but shows some citrus and spice. Light carbonation. The wheat adds a nice bit of body to the beer. Would be good for the summer.

Very solid beer and cheap here in texas. Tastes like blue moon and better than regular shiner. My friends love it.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 oz. bottle served in tumbler- poured a transparent thin yellow with a hint of orange in color, white ring around the glass for a head with some extremely thin frog eyes upon the liquid surface. Aroma of yeast, dimestore bubblegum, and a fart worth of citrus. Hits the mouth with a thin body, malt is very weak even for the style, some citrus and coriander in the middle, finish becomes water become very quickly. Oh Shiner, you let me down this time around.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: MAR 10, 2014 The beer pours a hazy golden color with a large white head, and it smells like dough yeast, wheat, and oranges. The taste is slightly sweet and mildly sour, and the palate fuses a slick texture, light body, average carbonation, and a fairly abrupt finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle pours a slightly hazy golden color with a thin white head that leaves spotty lacing. Smells of coriander, orange peel and bubble gum. Tastes of the same things. Mouthfeel is light and chewy with good carbonation. Good Belgian white. Nice use of ingredients. One of better beers I’ve had from shiner.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Shiner White Wing has a pretty thick, fluffy, white head, an initially clear, yellow-gold appearance, which displays a descending gray-yellow cloud, once the bottom contents are swished and poured in, lots of rapid bubble streams, and a good amount of lacing left on the glass. The aroma and flavor are just as the company describes- bready, with a hint of orange peel and coriander. No banana or bubble gum with this one. Mouthfeel is medium and soft, and Shiner White Wing finishes dry, refreshing, and very easy going. Overall, for a subtle, mellow witbier, this one if interesting and worth sampling. RJT

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours hazy gold with a slight white head. Aroma is primarily zest. Med body or nearly. Comes across a bit like a pale lager, though there’s definitely zest and arguably coriander. Like Belgian yeast wasn’t used? Ok drink.
