Bottle. A- Coriander, cloves, spices, wheat, citrus. A- Golden color, slightly hazy liquid, white head. T- Coriander, heavy spices, cloves, wheat, subtle citrus. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, spiced finish. O- A surprisingly damn good find. Usually I find Shiner produces some pretty average beers, but this was seemed above the rest. Lots and lots of spice. Could use a little more orange to balance out the coriander and clove notes, but easy to drink and great flavor.

You can tell its a hefeweizen. Other than that not much character. Good add to shiner line up. Now they need to improve. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Location: Draft at Third Coast, 4/9/14

Aroma: The nose is Belgian yeast, spice, some wheat, and lemon
Appearance: Poured into a plastic cup, but it did have a nice, foamy white head on it
Flavor: The flavor is much the same, wheat and yeast, zest, not terribly sweet
Palate: The body is medium, a touch thin, and it has a okay feel
Overall Impression: I thought this was an okay beer, and I don’t really have all that much more to say about it than that.

Darwenus (485) - Virginia, USA - APR 10, 2014
Pours a clear, lemon yellow. The little bit of suds doesn’t hang around long. Slightly grassy aroma, slightly tangy flavor with a mildly sweet finish. There isn’t much going on, here.

Crystal clear golden yellow pour with lots of bubbly carbonation. Thin white head. Aroma of lemongrass. Light yet highly carbonated mouthfeel. Lemon and other light citrus flavors, toasted malts. Lingering stray/hay malty flavor. Unoffensive but a bit bland.
