Hazy light yellow with thin head that trys to hang on with each drink. Smells of wet hay in an old barn. Tastes has some hint to some spices but overall just a dry bland wheat flavor. Drinkable to some extent but not anything that I would care to buy more of.

Nice golden honey color, bright white head that disappates quickly, strong citrus and spiced aroma, clean taste similar of hefeweisen, spices and citrus strong on palate with good mouthfeel. Pretty tasty summer-ish beer.

Draft @ The Ale House, Amesbury. Bright unfiltered gold color with small retention. Aroma and flavor is bright citrus and light spice. The flavor is much better than I was expecting since I don’t really like this brewery as a whole. This brew is respectable and was a nice surprise. Belgian yeast upfront with nice citrus throughout. The coriander spice is low and thankfully subdued. The yeast and citrus make it refreshing for me on a real warm Labor Day. Drinkable summer brew.

Bottle, twist-off. Nose is heavy coriander and heavier orange peel, some lemon and wheat, some mild vanilla. Pours clear pale golden with a fizzy, soapy white head. Medium body slimy with wheat, lightly sweet but not cloying, a very nice bready finish and aftertaste. Light malt, lots of lemon and orange but very natural (no artificial floor cleaner here), and surprisingly, the coriander is not as overdone as the nose had lead me to believe. Soft, smooth with low carbonation, and very drinkable despite the mild mouthfeel of mass-production. Good one for Shiner to pursue, think I’d take this over all their other national beers.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. Pale yellow pour with a short-lived white fizzy head. Toast, pepper, spice, and lemongrass on the nose. Light body. Toasted biscuit taste with spicy, pepper, and a waterfall of bitterness filling up the palate at the end. All of these Shiner beers and drinkable enough but I like them more for the nostalgic factor.

Draft at pj’s. Pours clear orange with a small white head. The aroma is bland peppery and lemon. The taste is average wit. Middle of the road.

Bottle. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate spice and sweet citrus aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My low expectations where met.

Slightly hazy golden with thin white head. Aroma: yeast and a little spice. A little thin and underwhelming. Okay, but there are better witbiers, even in Texas.

>> Hazy light golden pour, weak foam. Buttery, diacetyl nose. Taste is dusty, papery. Mild spice. Tart, lactic, mild yogurt finish. Dusty, dirty palate with odd butter and mild rancid dairy character.

Strong, malty aroma has a firm overtone of coriander, as well as floral and fruity hints. Pours a clear, bubbly, golden amber with a fairly thick but effervescent ivory head. Malty core of the flavor supports coriander, floral, and subtle fruity hints. Texture has average firmness and fizz, but the fizz persists. A beer in the hand is worth two in the fridge.
