COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wild Hare is a classic American Pale Ale-richly hopped, fruity and floral. Munich malt nicely balances the assertive character of the U.S. Golding and Bravo hop varieties that give this brew its signature bitterness and aroma. Enjoy!

Nov. 26, 2013. Coppery, herbal, sour-malt pale ale. Weird, unbalanced recipe. Not undrinkable, but I wouldnít seek this out.

From bottle. Very attractive amber pour with some off-white head. Usual Shiner faint nose. Thin-bodied and somewhat fruity, this isnít as bad as it sounds. A nice beer for working in the yard. Typical of Shiner, itís quaffable, but unremarkable.

(tap) clear orange/amber colour with a small tan head; faint aroma of fruit; lightly acidic crisp flavour; it has none of the pale ale character, tastes more like a light fruit beer

Pours a clear amber with a thin white head. Spicy fruity aroma. Taste is slightly tart. Some orange and citrus. Slight bitterness. Finishes light and clean. Drinkable beer.

Although this doesnít look that bad in a glass, it smells like itís gone bad before you even pour it into a glass. And yeah, itís not that much better once in the glass either. Caramel and musky grains define the nose. Although itís labeled a pale ale, it smells like a lager... a dirty, thin Oktoberfest more than anything else. Itís awfully ick in the mouth, pretty nasty. I canít drink this without making a face. I donít want to even try to explain the flavor. Or finish. Itís a sad excuse for a pale ale. Itís like someone added caramel malts to a thinned out Shiner Bock. Come on, guys. Iím beyond given up on Spoetzl.

Pours a very nice amber with a decent head. Smells like cheap beer with just a little hint of something fruity. The taste is just not very good. Tastes like a cheap beer. Disappointed with this one.

12 oz can. Beautiful pour, pinkish amber with an off white head. Ands thatís all, this beer is empty in my mouth.... Thatís unfortunate considering how it looks in a glass.

Bottle hazy light orange with shades of pink creamy lasting sandy head . Very soft sugary honey aroma. Lacking in any hop flavors or aromas. Sweet and boring.

Appearance: very clear amber color, pours with a very large beige head that has a very nice density, great head Aroma: maltiness, creamy, milk, faint, maybe a hint of hops in there Taste: very creamy, a hint of sourness, some bitterness on the finish, hint of lemon, bread Palate: average c02, frothy, leaves a very faint aftertaste, moderate mouth feel Overall: a good beer but does not taste like a pale ale, very frothy, not a whole lot of flavor ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Family Reunion 6íer... hazy lite amber... no real head or retention. Nose seems like a macro pale ale.. lite citrus and a heavier than wanted toasty maltiness... Toasty malt is the big player.. Lite but balanced hops are present... Flimsy and not for the PNW!! Just not very good. 2.75/2.75/3/3/3
