COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wild Hare is a classic American Pale Ale-richly hopped, fruity and floral. Munich malt nicely balances the assertive character of the U.S. Golding and Bravo hop varieties that give this brew its signature bitterness and aroma. Enjoy!

Bottle. Pours a clear copper body under a one finger fizzy off-white head that faded to a wispy film. The nose is just lightly hoppy, with caramel and toasty malt and a bit of graininess. The flavor is pretty bland and lacking in hops, and they aren’t very bitter at all. More grainy and bland caramel malt than anything. Light to medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Pretty bland stuff.

Floral hoppy malt aroma with a zesty character. Thin head on a deep amber body. Mild dry bitterness. Caramel malt base. Clean finish.

TATE (307) - Lubec, Maine, USA - DEC 14, 2014
Bottle. Pours a deep amber color with a thick white head. Too foamy really after the pour, had to wait a bit for it to dissipate. I loved the aroma, as the hops come out nicely. There is not much flavor from the hops though and this seems more like an England style pale ale as it is more toward the malt side with some creaminess on the palate. Nothing spectacular here just kind of average but I thought some good flavor for the price. The finish was had a bit of a bite to it.

Rated based on notes taken 22 Oct 2012 -- I really enjoyed this ale from Shiner. I really liked the commercials as well, I miss them.

Purchased in Vermont, part of their tester mixed-pack. Pours a clean golden-amber colour with a warm creamy cap, good retention and lots of sticky lacing. Malty nose with biscuit, fruity malts, mild caramel, yeast and hints of bananas. Flavours of light roasted malts, bread and again, banana notes. Smooth mouthfeel. One of their better brews so far.

Bottle from Beer Culture New York City September 2013. This is a well balanced beer with hops and malt sharing equal billing.

12oz screw top bottle. Pours a golden amber with a decent off white head. Wasn’t expecting much and didn’t really get much to be honest. Tasted like macro swill for the most part.

Terrible. Where are the hops? Biscuity malts that are muddled, not even pleasant. Tasted like a poorly done amber ale. Really dark for a pale ale.
