Fra fat på Furnace i Derby 18 Feb 16. Gylden. Lavt bobleskum. Forsiktig aprikosaroma. Smaken litt sitrus. Mer preg av grapefrukt etter hvert. Avslutter tørt.

Gravity at The NWAF, Derby. A clear deep golden colour with a foamy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, passion fruit, some peach, a little lemon, a hint of apricot and subtle biscuit. Taste of grapefruit, lemon, some passion fruit, a little apricot, slight biscuit and subtle floral hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dryish, citrus hop bitterness in the finish. A really well hopped, citrusy golden ale. Extremely sessionable. Lovely

Half pint, cask at the brewpub. Bright golden body, tiny white head. Fragile lacing. Aromas of herbal hops with rich fruity hints. Fruit hoppy taste of grapefruit and lemon with pale malts beneath. Smooth fruit bitter ending. Mild oily palate. Refreshing (Sunday pub crawl in Derby 22.02.2015).

Cask, Pelt Trader, 19th February 2015. Utterly session stuff. So juicy and clean. Pungent and punchy. Aromatic in all the right ways. I am drinking pure resinous hop juice. This is an excellent example of how a golden ale should be. Incredibly clean. Crisp, biscuity and juicy. Can drink it all day. Reminds me of Kelly Ryan’s beers an awful lot which is high praise!

Cask at The Furnace, Derby, Saturday 17th January 2015 Gold in colour with a slim white head. Lovely hoppy nose, citrussy with a touch of sweet lemon but then mostly grapefruit floods through. Clean, fresh, tasty session beer ending dry. Great stuff. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15. 3.8

Cask-conditioned at the Devonshire Cat, Sheffield, 3/12/2014. Clear gold, with a big, lacy, white, head. Massive citrus and tropical fruit character, with some grassy hop kick, balancing cemay malts and a dry finish. Excellent.

Cask conditioned at Birmingham Beer Festival ’14. Gold with white head. There is a goodly hoppy character to this, lime seems to be the outstanding characteristic for me, but there is also grapefruit hints. Perhaps lacking a little depth but nevertheless is a really decent beer.
