Tap at NJ fest ’04. Golden and clear. Nice fruity hoppy aroma. Nice malt/hop balance in the flavor. Easy drinking and satisfying.

Draft, pint glass. Caramel, toffee and dark bread malt (M); earthy, spicy hops (M); pear and red grape aromas. Deep amber-red body with no head an little carbonation. Authentic! Moderately sweet, lightly acidic flavor becomes a lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter finish. Medium body, watery/creamy texture, flat carbonation. The bottom line is: nice taste and mouthfeel. It would be great to have this as a session beer.

07.21.04 Tap at brewpub. Flat looking, iced tea colored, little head. Fragrant hops are most inviting. Nice malt front, fruity and grainy middle, hoppy/dry finish. Wonderful balance, another quaffer. Brilliant.

Clear gold color with nice head and lacing. Aromas of roasted malt and hops. Taste was indeed bitter and crisp which went well with a beautiful afternoon.
