Sep 10, 2004 Draft, pint glass. Caramel, toffee and dark bread malt (M); earthy, spicy hops (M); pear and red grape aromas. Deep amber-red body with no head an little carbonation. Authentic! Moderately sweet, lightly acidic flavor becomes a lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter finish. Medium body, watery/creamy texture, flat carbonation. The bottom line is: nice taste and mouthfeel. It would be great to have this as a session beer.

Jul 21, 2004 07.21.04 Tap at brewpub. Flat looking, iced tea colored, little head. Fragrant hops are most inviting. Nice malt front, fruity and grainy middle, hoppy/dry finish. Wonderful balance, another quaffer. Brilliant.

Jul 15, 2004 Clear gold color with nice head and lacing. Aromas of roasted malt and hops. Taste was indeed bitter and crisp which went well with a beautiful afternoon.
