willblake (1927), Long Branch, New Jersey, USA Aug 18, 2005 08.18.05 Tap at brewpub. Light hazed gold, limp and dull. What began as a huge head quickly faded to nothing but a white ring that left an odd sea-foam lace (bartender had trouble controlling the pour, I noticed, each time he approached this beer). Aroma of breakfast cereal sauted in butter is a real kick in the ass. Flavor is the same. Undertones of metallic, mineral tang. Total butter bomb. Undrinkable.
