Jun 5, 2005 On tap at the Ship. Deep dark copper in color with a nice tan head. Malty and hoppy aroma. Medium bodied. Roasty. Malty and hoppy flavor. Light tasting. Slight chocolate, caramel notes. Decent beer.

Jan 2, 2005 Toasted malt nose, dark clear brown color, low scumy head. Dry, late arriving woody bitter after a weak malt front. Watery and thin. Not quite sure what they were aiming for here.
