4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
I need to start by telling people to eff off. If you canít read than thatís one thing. If you took 2 seconds to look at the bottle, you know what your are going to be drinking; a cherry wheat. Yes its fruity! But. Im pretty sure thatís the point. From my experience this is not a beer for everyone. If you are going to drink this understand it needs to be chilled to the point of almost frozen or the aroma is going to overpower the drink. It a great wheat with a refreshing cherry taste. Great for summer sipping out on the porch. Try it out and I think you will be suprised.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampler as part of a flight "plank" of the current drafts at the brewpub bar. Poured to plastic with an orange/amber hue, an off white, bubbly head, and light strands & spots of lacing. The nose was soft malt and a perfumey dose of moderately sweet cherry juice. The flavor offered a drier version of the fruit, light to medium body, and decent effervescence. Flavorful, and not overdone as a Fruit Beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a bright ruby color with a white head. As the name suggests, aroma is all cherry and wheat, with the cherry being dominant. Taste is similar, but this time the wheat flavor is more potent. Light, crisp, and refreshing. Kind of tart as well. Good carbonation. This is nice for summer.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Tastes just like cough syrup. No lie. Relatively thick, sickeningly cherry, and not good. The aroma is tolerable, but the flavor is atrocious.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Cherry and wheat aroma. Cloudy, copper with off-white head, mild lacing. Cherry, wheat, mild lemon flavours. Balanced with medium bitterness.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Heidel House Brewfest. An amber beer with white head. Aroma of cherry chapstick, light vanilla, and wheat malt. Flavor is initially a brief tart cherry, followed by wheat malt, and an odd sharp, almost bitter finish. Average body. Not that refreshing for a fruit beer.

2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
From old notes. Taste is tart cherries. Much more predominate than SA cherry wheat and more natural tasting. That said an unremarkable beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Better than expected. Not an overbearing fruit bomb. The base of the beer is fairly simple, sweet and malty. Not something Iíd seek out again but it was worth trying.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
This a mild brew w/ lots of caramel malt flavors and a tart, fruity edge from the cherries. Itís cloudy w/ a small white head. At the very least, this does appear to be brewed w/ actual cherries which puts it a step above most of itís ilk. It doesnít quite come together perfectly but at least it doesnít taste like Kool Ade.

2.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
got a 6-pack of this from Woodmanís in Janesville, WI for $7.79 in Winter 2011.
Pours a clear reddish amber color with not too much of a head due to the lack of carbonation. Scent is heavy with sweet cherry juice scents with some wheat scents as well. The texture is rather flat and uninviting. It really reminds me of the taste of day old beer with some grenadine added. Probably one of the worst fruit beers Iíve had. Itís still drinkable but not very enjoyable. I think Iíll stick to Sam Adams Cherry Wheat the next time.
