A crisp light ale, made with wheat, barley, and fruit juice from fresh Door County cherries, create a uniquely fruity beer.

I blame myself for trying a cherry wheat, was disapointed in everything but the smell.

Bottle poured a hazy orange amber with a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of wheat, light sour cherry, light yeast and hint of spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of sour pie cheries, wheat, light yeast and light spice with a crisp lingering cherry pie finish.

Poured a dirty off reddish gold with minimal head and/or lacing. Aroma was of malts and fruitiness, although the cherry almost had a prune smell. Taste was OK - malts, clove, cherry-prune with a mild hop finish. Mouth was OK - low carbonation. Overall, I was hoping for a bit more here but it was not the worst either.

12 oz that I found at a store in Appleton. Pours into my weizen glass a red/orange. The bottle says artificial colorings were used, I donít really see it so I guess that is good. The head is massive and off-white and leaves some nice lacing. It smells like a normal run of the mill american generic craft beer smell with a hint of cherry. The taste is very spicy, with an almost vegetable flavor, Iím not really tasting the cherry. Run of the mill. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 03-10-2010 04:03:51

Hazy particulate laden amber with a thin white head that fades into a small layers of bubbles. Aroma of malt, candied cherry and grains. Taste of cherry, wheat and grains with a clean finish that has a little cherry in it. Very mild tasting with low carbonation.

On tap at the brewpub, pours a hazy pale orange. Cherry nose, cherry taste. Like drinking the water that a jar of cherries comes in.

Draft at Fish Creeks Coopers Corner. Reddish amber color with pretty much zero head. Aroma is of tart cherries. The taste is pretty disappointing. Slight cherry taste an then a bland aftertaste. Fairly pedestrian. Medim mouthfeel. Blah

The aroma of this beer is the extent of its quality. Very full of cherries, without the traditional metallic scent that usually comes along with the cherry beers. Other than the smell, this beer is terrible. Lightly bitter, no fruit taste, and not refreshing at all.

Transparent copper color with a very thin white head. Sour aroma with mild flavors of wheat and cherry and a slightly tart finish. Not recommended.

12oz bottle. Why add artificial color? Filtered pink-tan color, a touch of Haze. Minimal, though still present and lasting, head. Sugary cherry aroma, not overly assertive, but hard to mistake. Itís not bad by any means, but very standard, lacking zest. It is more beer-centric than most fruit beers, with some toasty malt tones shining through the mellow, black cherry taste. There is some mild, pit bitterness in the aftertaste that you get after a few sips, which I would think would be hard to appreciate or recognize from a small sample. Pretty decent offering, but blown away by the world of Kriek.
