A crisp light ale, made with wheat, barley, and fruit juice from fresh Door County cherries, create a uniquely fruity beer.

Pours a burnished gold with a creamy white head that mostly dissipates. Nose is of cherries. Very creamy on the palate. Cherries dominate the flavor, somewhat tart, with a wheat bread backbone and very slight hint of hops. A fine sipping beer, best before or after a meal.

Draft at the brewpub. Maraschino cherry skin aroma. Cherry flavor prevalent with caramel notes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not recommended. Tried on tap at their brewpub, tastes like miller lite with cherry flavor added. No body, or fruity spicy characteristics I expected from a wheat. The Door County cherries were what caught my eye, but just tastes like a clear beer with cherry flavor. Saw it at a retail store in Door County, turns out the cherry flavor is partly done with artificial flavors. Come on, guys.

Bottle. It poured a red color with a small white head. The aroma was of tart cherries with some light malts. The taste was similar to the aroma with some wheat, barley and more tart cherries. Decent.

Clear and pale yellow within white head. Nose is lollipop cherry and sugar. Taste is similar with a watery malt backbone. Tastes like a poorly made blonde with cherry additive

Hazy orange pour from 12oz bottle from Chad. White head. Light crisp cherry aroma. Wine like. Barley cherry and fruity. Easy to pound.

Tap. Golden with small head. Nice cherry aroma, but it doesn’t come through much in the flavor. Mild wheat beer. On the bland side.

[Bottle] Pours a darker golden color with a fizzy white head. Aroma is of grainy wheat, cherry juice and light grassy hops. Taste is of cherry and wheat. The cherry flavor came across as more artificial than I had hoped. More of a syrupy candy flavor actually. Lingering graininess. Average body. Tasting notes from 12/2011.

On tap at Old Fashioned, pours a clear copper with a thin head, the aroma is actually pretty nice with a good amount of cherry and a little bit of malt, the flavor is more of artificial cherry and doesn’t come across as it really wanted to, just not good.
