3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Strong cinnamon taste and flavor. Smooth. Would be great as a shooter with ice cream after a turkey. Great execution, just not something I’d love to drink a ton of.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Apple nutmeg beer, go figure. Surprised I liked it as much as I did. The smell and taste are strong and similarly, of apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, hint of brown sugar. Good fall/winter beer. Happy to have 1 or 2 of these in a session any more would be flavor overload.

Bottle purchased at Vicker’s Liquors. Clear gold pour with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet malt, apple and light spice. Cinnamon and apple flavor with some maltiness before a semi-dry, thin finish.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
The aroma is spicy and sweet with sour apple candy. The appearance is golden with a thin head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is watery. Overall sessionable enough.

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz bottle, pours a clear golden color with a thin fizzy head that diminished and leaves hardely any lacing. Smells of apple, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Tastes of all the same things that are in the smell. Mouthfeel is watery but chewy with decent carbonation. This beer tastes like Apple Jacks in beer form but a little more sour. Worth having on occasion during the summer but definitely glad I didn’t buy a six pack.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pours orange with a very slight haze. Head is an off-white pithy head which fades into a thin layer. Swirls with no lace.
Apple cider and apple pie. Cinnamon sticks and allspice. Thick and spicy and cloying.
Apple pie and apple cinnamon crisps and apple pie. Flesh in the middle, skins along the edges. Medium-light weight. Dry and a bit weak after each swallow – definitely doesn’t leave a lasting impression. Strongest up front. Borderline cloying.
Definitely not that great. I finished my glass but just barely. Shipyard has always been hit or miss with me and their Applehead is definitely a miss. Meh.

1.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Pours a clear gold with no head. Strong apple aromas, not much else. First sip is whoa nelly! Spices! Like nutmeg and all those holiday garbage spices. Pure apple pie taste. Garbage.
