PhillyBeer2112 (1842), Orange Park, Florida, USA Jul 7, 2008 Nice copper color with a big creamy khaki head. Aroma didn’t scream IPA - but instead ringwood. Quite a bit of butterscotch and caramel corn in the nose. There’s a slight backing of floral hops. Flavor features a touch more hops, mainly floral with a light trace of orange rind citrus. Fruity buttery malts are balanced to the hop, leading to a semi-sweet finish with a lingering combo of hop bitterness and butterscotch. Could be a good British IPA but the diacetyl is just a bit too over the top in this one.

zappafan99 (322), Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA Aug 30, 2008 Taste 8/8 Bottle(best by11/8). 4th variety of beer by this brewer today , they all taste like bitters. Looks: Copper body, thin yeasty head. Aroma: Biscuit yeast. Taste: Like a mild and bland bitter with a little body. zebracakes (981), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 18, 2008 Bottle. Pours Hazy golden orange, off white head. Aroma is malted hoppy graham crackers. I guess this one could go either way at this point. The aroma is not crisp and citrusy so it leads me to believe that there could be peat on the horizon.
Flavor is bitter and malty, some wet bog and metal going on here. This isn’t super peaty, but I’m not giving my stamp of approval. So there ;)
