It poured a light copper slightly cloudy color with a medium head that quickly dissipated leaving about an average lace around the glass. The smell had some floral scents with hints of caramel and hops. The taste was slightly malty and sweet with brown sugar and caramel, and had a slightly bitter hoppy finish. It had a light body with a high carbonation. A good ol APA that was pretty drinkable. Overall, decent for the style and good for me.

Pours a nice deep amber color. Aromas of hops/hops/citrus. Strong hop flavors with malts and a nice finish

Pours an amber from a bottle, thick white head. Aroma of caramel malt. Not much going on here, except unlike many pale ales the overall mouthfeel is well-balanced. However, little hoppiness, and an over-reliance on caramel malt. Meh.

Orange brown with thin tan head. Fruity, butter, hops, malt, toffee in the nose. Malty with notes of butter, grass, hops and toffee. Firm dry bitterness.

Bottle - Malt forward with some good hop backbone. Pretty basic and one dimensional taste. I will say it stand up to my cigar that I am smoking with it which is nice.

Distinctly mediocre. No head. Little malt and curiously bitter for ABV. Not true to type.

Drank from bottle. Got this in a twelve pack sampler (Export, Old Thumper, & Applehead). Best beer in the sampler). Im usually not a huge pale ale fan, but enjoyed this one quite a bit!
