The Shipyard Brewing Company's flagship beer, is a full bodied ale, with a hint of sweetness up front, a subtle and distinctive hope taste, and a very clean and traditional finish.

Bottle from Tesco Wrexham. Pours a nice gold colour with a pillowy white head. Aroma is tropical, hoppy and slightly metallic. Taste is pretty much the same with a good amount of malt. Nice enough, not incredible though.

330ml Bottle. It pours a thin white head over a golden body. Its aroma is faint but there is some malt and some caramel amongst floral notes. Its taste was surprising deep for a yankee beer. There was caramel and malts again but with quite a strong hint of honey and there was a definite earthiness to it too. Shame about the small bottle but a very good effort. Quite enjoyable.

Bottle, 330ml. A light copper colour with a small head. A slightly malty, grassy aroma with dark fruit notes. Flavour is malty with a little caramel and citrus, a somewhat watery finish. Moderate carbonation. Not bad but nothing special either.

Bottle at home. Clear golden pour. Aroma of grainy malts, some soapy apples and a bit metallic. Flavor is grainy, sweet, a hint of creamy malts and quite boring.

Pours a dark straw color with a thin white head. Smells like a corn cob or the inside of a grain bin. Taste is grainy as well and of corn mash. Kind of tastes like Coors Light on steroids. Blah.

Bottle at home from Tesco. Clear golden / light copper colour with a lasting greyish white head. Aroma is earthy, light pine, grassy, mineral and light stale malt. Fllavour is honey malt, light staling, and veg grassy hop. Palte is dusty carbonic acid and harsh tickling carbonation. Fairly dull
