3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Light, citrusy, hoppy aroma, some touches of lemon and floral sweetness. Medium golden color, with a scant ring of bubbles for a head. Flavor is fairly hoppy while retaining a low degree of bitterness, with a blend of lightly sweet, fruity malt and some tart citrus and faintly herbal tones. Light-medium bodied, with a smooth, largely uncarbonated palate. Very refreshing. You won't find a Blond on too many people's list of favorites, but this is definitely one of the better ones.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Copper with a big white head. Nose slight, a bit lemony, some malts. Malty, nutty British character, some butterscotch, a bit earthy. Creamy and smooth.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft. Tan color, some head. Nice hoppy aroma. Decent malts, tasty earthy hop flavors. Rather enjoyable actually.

3.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Heavy character for its looks. There is quite a bit of malt in the palate, and the hop balance is not at all bad. Good exception to the "hop til you drop" standard offerings for US pale ales. Good, simple beer without any spectacular or horrible quialities.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark blonde coloration with minimal yet persistent fizzy head. Light aroma, but smell is there is quite nice: bread, pumpkin, cider - like a German house frau's kitchen! Interesting mouthfeel, an initial spritzy effervescence followed by an unexpectedly creamy texture - very compelling. Flavor is mild, vaguely reminiscent of Anderson Valley's Winter Solstice but not nearly as potent. This is just "ale," with no frills. This isn't going to blow anyone away, but it is a very nice pint nonetheless and very enjoyable.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nice bitter aroma at the beginning, moves to a pale malt and very yeasty aroma. Good label, standard American twistoff bottle. Some cider, starchy, strongly acidic and hoppy. Finish is overbrewed, tinny and doughy with some off flavors.

Fruity yeast aroma. Light orange colour. Malt balanced flavour, with a late mettalic bitterness.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 oz. brown bottle. Damned twist off cap. No freshness date.
Poured out a deep golden color, with a fast fading white, thin head.
Didn't have the decency to even leave a lacing down the side of the glass. Aromas of stale malts, and even staler hops. Slight cheesy aroma to it as well. Ringwood yeast makes it's presence known also. Some diacetyl present. Not acceptable in a pale ale by any means. Try again, Shipyard.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
This beer just lacks everything. No hops, no malt. Just a bit too tame. I wouldn't even call it easy drinking.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
poured a dark readish color, with not that much nose. A soft ale flavor, but a not very could finish. Could of been better.
