COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Shipyard Brewing Company's flagship beer, is a full bodied ale, with a hint of sweetness up front, a subtle and distinctive hope taste, and a very clean and traditional finish.

Light golden copper, as label says. Whitish head is small, and mostly diminishing. Light aroma, not much going on. Light bodied, small malts, very big bitter finish, hopped out, apples and hops. Nothing outside of ordinary.

Strange yellow/orange-pale; Thin head. Smooth. Very slight bite. Refreshing.

I read the previous ratings before drinking this beer, and I thought it was going to be an average beer. When I actually drank it, I was pleasantly surprised. It was far better than what I had been reading. It had a nose that was malty and yeasty. It poured with a small head and little to no lacing. It had a nice sweet malty taste, with a nice hop finish. This would make a great session beer. I will definately buy this again and again and again.

This is one of Shipyardís better beers. the color is a pale golden hew, however it is topped with very little head. the aroma and flavor are sweet and malty with a hoppy finish.

If you put this in a plain glass with 300 other ales, I couldnít pick it out. Not even with cliff notes. Iíd much rather drink this than something mass produced, but itís not really in the "microbrewed craft beer" class. Shipyard can do so much better than this. Boo.

This is an average beer. Wait this is less than my average beer. Too main stream, in other words, just another beer.

The Flagship beer? Ehhh? You hoser! Itís a jelly. Why even bother, grow some balls and produce a beer that you canít buy in cans at any major grocery chain across North America

Nothing remarkable, in fact there are some off flavors which take away from the overall beer. I noticed some mettalic flavors not only in the stuff exported to my home in NY but the stuff in ME was just as bland and had the same taste. The only beer so far that has let me down from shipyard.

Floral hops to start, then a pleasant hoppy bitterness. The aftertaste doesnt hang around for long. Middling.
