Golden color. Light malt aroma. Pretty good body, quite malty (oh, not too much...) and hopped enough.

Bottle, 2005-03-10, 7-3-6-3-12=31
Golden color. Delicate but nice hoppy aroma, a bit fruity (sweet oranges). The flavor is balanced but simpler; the final is quite bitter (with caramel as well).

Golden color with a medium fizzy white head. Aroma is initially of slight pine, once the head subsides more of a orange hop aroma. Taste is slight citrus with some bread qualities in the mouthfeel. Finishes slightly dry.

nice lite colored head that stuck around for a while.Color was amber.Sweet malty tea aroma with a hint of lemon.Flavor was malty sweet with a lemon grass taste and a definate big hop presence. The carbonation is perfect rite where it should be.Theres a lemon, hop after taste that is slightly bitter but the pleasant kind that doesn't bite to hardthe finish is definately dry almost like sahara desert dry the only thing that hangs around is the hops, and ohhhh it's good definately a brew that is easy to drink in high volume not just 1 and i've had enough.

Sweeta and malty, with a bitter finish with a taste of green banana. Drinkable - but the Thumper is much more memorable.

Deep gold in color, this is a fairly balanced ale. It's hoppiness is just short of a pale ale.

Pours a clear, orange gold color with a small, rapidly dissipating white head. The aroma is malty with just a hint of hops. Light bodied with medium carbonation, the flavor is malty sweet up front, with a crisp finish with hints of caramel and butterscotch that linger. Light in flavor, but it has an attractive maltiness. Not a bad ale, light and drinkable.

Light in colour with an orange tint. An almost white head that remains atop for a long time. A 'lagery' smell with not much outside aromas. Bland taste with a small hoppy aftertaste. Everything about this beer makes it a 'pass up' beer, so don't waste your time on the Export, try the IPA, its much better!

Clear copper color, frothy white head. Aroma is flowery, tart, and a tad alcoholic. Not very balanced in my opinion; over-carbonation results in mostly hidden, nearly inperceptable flavors. Finish is hopped and long lasting. My least favorite Shipyard brew to date.

Bottled. Golden coloured with creamy head. Perfumy fuggle hop aroma. Sweet with medium body with creamy mouthfeel. Orangey finish with some bitterness. Well balanded, really drinkable and more malt accented than the average US micro.

Golden body with quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is grassy with a slight sweetness. Taste is grassy bitterness, nothing more.
