Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 4, 2006 An orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and so is the flavor, though combined with notes of hops. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Jan 22, 2003 Bottled. Golden coloured with creamy head. Perfumy fuggle hop aroma. Sweet with medium body with creamy mouthfeel. Orangey finish with some bitterness. Well balanded, really drinkable and more malt accented than the average US micro. Papsoe (10386), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 28, 2005 (Bottle 35, 5 cl) Amber, slightly hazy, small creamy head. Very malty with pronounced notes of caramel. Very sweet actually - the whole way through. In it’s basic structure this is not so different from an IPA, just completely without the hop-bite. 250505 Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Nov 6, 2003 Rich amber colour. That's about all that's rich, though. Grainy, slightly herbal aroma. Light flavour, mild herbal hops. Sweetish finish that is at once oily and malty. While a cut above such dubious beers as Oland Export, Black Horse, 50 and Molson Golden, it's confused nature (real beer or macro beer?) actually puts it behind Ten Penny, Molson Export and Molson Stock Ale in overall presentation (even if it is more robust in character). joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 13, 2006 Bottle.
Clear golden coloured with a white head.
Aroma of malts, grain, caramel and hops.
Flavour of malts, caramel and hops.
