aobecksy (647), Middle of no where, Ohio, USA Jan 6, 2008 Light English ale style. Malty and sweet with hoppy finish, may be better chilled really cold.
hughie (2206), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Sep 4, 2008 Bottle from BSF @ GBBF ’08. Gold with a white head. Aroma of slightly burned paper. Plus yacht varnish. Sweet malty taste. Also that slightly burned tang again, not unlike cigarette smoke. Lots of carbonation and a mid bitter finish. Thought this lacked character. SuperDave70 (766), Arizona, USA Sep 3, 2008 Light gold pour with a thin white head. Toasted grain and fruity malt in the aroma. Flavor is mostly the same with an unpleasant bitterness on the finish. No thank you! zappafan99 (322), Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA Aug 30, 2008 Taste 8/8 Bottle (Best By 10/8). Looks: Gold, thin head. Aroma: Biscuit. Taste: Fruit and biscuit. A bitter with a little citrus and dark fruit. Ehhh GreatLibations (1265), Sasquatcho, Arizona, USA Aug 21, 2008 Tawny golden in color with a tall lasting head. Smells of toasted biscuits. Full nectar with mellow residual effers. Slightly fruit with heavy biscuit essence on the palate. The finish is bittered mildly. urnamesucks (92), New York City, New York, USA Aug 20, 2008 There was something off about this beer. It was much better from the tap than in the 22oz. bottles I bought afterwards. Disappointing.
