This light copper single hop India Pale Ale is brewed only with the Fuggles hops. It has a smooth, dry, and crisp flavor with floral aroma and apple plum palate.

Poured from 12oz brown bottle into a nonic pint glass. It poured a light orange amber colour with weak white foam. Malty and hoppy, a fairly true-to-style and balanced English-style IPA but nothing too special. Light-medium body, somewhat bready mouthfeel, lingering fruity and earthy aftertaste. Decent but disappointing. Considering they allegedly use UK Fuggle hops, the revered dual-strain Ringwood Brewery dual-strain yeast, top-cropped in open fermentors...this should taste WAY better than it does.

355ml bottle pours a golden color with a finger and a half of white head that leaves some nice lacing rings on the glass. Aroma is light fruits and caramel. Taste is a grassy and spicy hop bitterness with a nicely balanced caramel malt and light fruit sweetness. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Much like an English bitter, but with more hops.

Aroma of fruit, apples, plums, some hops. No head or lacing. Not a great IPA, but not awful either.

ComradeK (1059) - The Vale of Dundas, AUSTRALIA - SEP 18, 2014
355ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden amber, with a medium off-white head, which lasts well and leaves good lacing. Floral and stewed fruit hops mix with wholemeal bread and mild caramel malt to create the aroma. Floral and berry hops up front give way to wholemeal bread and slight caramel notes in the mid-palate, with spice and floral hops in the finish. The use of Fuggles makes this feel like a bitter that has simply had the hops turned up, probably much like the original IPAs would have been. It’s an interesting concept, although there are more exciting IPAs out there.

Bottle - pours gold with a white head. Not a lot of hops on the aroma, more caramel malt. Dry taste across the palate. Not really an IPA.

Kolor jasnobursztynowy, lekko opalizujace. Piana bardzo obfita, ale bardzo szybko redukuje sie do cienkiej warstwy, ktora utrzymuje sie przez caly czas picia, minimalnie oblepia szklo. W aromacie intensywny przypalony karmel polaczony z calkiem intensywnym aromatem angielskiego chmielu w wydaniu slodkich owocow i migdalow, z tylu przebija lekki kwasek, typowy zapach ulepkowatego ESB. W smaku polpelne, dosc slodkie, gladkie i sliskie. Wysycenie niskie. Lekkie rozgrzewanie alkoholowe po przelknieciu. Goryczka niska, absolutnie nie kontruje karmelowej slodyczy tego piwa, lekko lodygowa, owocowa i migdalowa.

Drank from the bottle. Aroma is comprised of lemon-lime, citrus, and hay. The lemon-lime flavor seems off, seems like the malt overpowers the fuggles. Medium bodied beer with heavy carbonation and a slightly sticky mouth feel. Some bitterness is attached to this beer.

Bottle from Tesco in Eastbourne shared with McTapps. Hoppy start with some citrus fruits and bit spruce. Dry and bitter finish with some grassy moments and earthy background. Not a bad one but I expected lot more.

Bottle from Tesco in Eastbourne. Pours out in a light amber.copper colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of mild hops and spruce. Taste of mild hops, light wheat, bread, spruce, mild citrus fruits and herbs. Easy drinkable and not that bad but also nothing special.
