This light copper single hop India Pale Ale is brewed only with the Fuggles hops. It has a smooth, dry, and crisp flavor with floral aroma and apple plum palate.

Bottle from tesco. It pours clear amber with a medium white head. The nose is grainy, grass, mild sweetness, earth and straw. The taste is grainy, dull bitterness, grass, florals, some sweetness and earth with a dry finish. Light-medium body and average carbonation. Fuggles IPA? No thanks. Really basic stuff.

Bottle, 330 ml. Pours clear amber with half a finger of creamy white head, which promptly vanishes leaving little lacing. Weak aroma of honey, wholemeal bready malts, and a little bit of floral hops. Taste is quite watery with background notes of honey, bready and biscuit malts, citrus, and apple. Bitterness is only slight.Thin-bodied and highly carbonated, this is disappointing, and reminds me too much of Greene King.

Bottle into a Leffe glass. Opaque copper, effervescent with a creamy head. Grassy aroma with some malt. Dry, bitter beer, pleasant. Crisp rather than light. This is reasonable stuff, I could have a couple of these happily if I was out with friends, but you would find something better in a proper beer joint.

UPDATED: JUL 21, 2014 Bottled 25/05/14. A golden coloured beer with lasting off-white dollops of head and lace. Quite hoppy but itís very much of the earthy fuggles variety. A decent taste and bitterness level and itís drinkable enough - just a bit dull. Score 3.2

Malty barnyard aroma and flavor. No real distinguishable hop profile. Drinkable but would not seek out. Nothing special for an ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

First drainpour. Ever. Iíd be embarrassed to give this carbuncle away, even to those fragrant bearded men that hang round bus stations and Iím not talking about hipsters. I was nonced by the label, itís as if Inbev decided to brew a ícraft beerí after a 2 hour Powerpoint presentation I hope that by pouring this down the drain I havenít poisened the local water supply. God have mercy on my soul.

May 20, 2014; 12 oz. bottle from Shipyard sampler into a tumbler glass. Interesting how labeling/expectations biast the sampling experience and, ultimately, the rating. As an IPA, this recipe disappoints; as a bitter, it succeeds mildly.

Bottle from Tesco. Pours amber/copper with a quickly disappearing white fizzy, foamy head. Lightly floral on the nose. A bit fruity and bitter on the palate. Quite thin and well carbonated....
