2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from my recent Albany trip. Pours amber hue with soapy off white head. Nose and taste of pine, citrus, flowers, and slight chalkiness. Medium body is drying and leaves my contemplating why I picked this on off the shelf.... Oh yeah, that’s right: #TickersGonnaTick.

2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
355ml bottle from Morrisons.
Small white head, good lacing. Clear amber body. Nose virtually non-existent. Flavour of grassy hops then a weird peppery aftertaste. Mouthfeel is quite harsh, pretty high carbonation. Not good.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Tesco, Longton. Pours amber with froth head. Very dry, peppery IPA, as you work down it becomes more refreshing. It’s average at best.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
355ml Bottle: poured into a stemmed ’Yuengling’ badged glass at home on 16th Nov 2013.
Golden amber body with a slight haze, on top a white covering of tight bubbles.
The nose was both citrus hoppy and mildly sweet molasses: this mixture carried on into the taste, sweeter than I expected from a US brewed IPA (with Fuggles). I enjoyed it but not sure it is ’true to style’.
Medium bodied, the alcohol hidden nicely and overall a fine, easy to drink IPA.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Tesco drunk at home. Clear amber thin white head. Toffee on the aroma. Not much of an ipa to be honest. Some malt some harsh hop on finish . East coast ipa. It’s ok. Bit empty in the mouth.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Dark gold colour with thick white head. Aroma has citrus hops and fruit. Malty taste with some hops. Soft carbonation. Not very well put together. Long hoppy but sort of unpleasant finish.

Bought from morrisons thinking it was an American craft pale ale
Tasted like a poor Newcastle brown ale, which now is foul
Marstons/coors please stop jumping on the bandwagon

Where is it imported from? Derbyshire?
Rubbish con mislabelling cheat beer

0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Interesting drink in terms of James brewdogs debate about craft beer. This claims to be craft ! Bought from morrisons, lovely golden colour, and then the most unpleasant mouthfull I think I’ve ever had. Pure "pour" drain cleaner! Don’t think that cheap equals good value. Terrible beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
355ml bottle from Morrisons I think. Has an unusual taste for an IPA. Slightly over-sweet, syrupy quality with a bizarre cereal maltiness. Kinda liked it, in a way, but doubt I’d choose it again.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark blond colour. Aroma has a hint of green apple. Initial fruity taste. Finish is pleasantly dry. Not a typical IPA but a pleasant, dry drink with a bit more to offer than a lager or pilsener.
