2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
As a somewhat mainstream craft beer Shipyard IPA is OK. The pour creates a small white head. The appearance is lighter in nature than many IPAs. It also has a light haze to it. The aroma has hints of citrus. The taste is an immedaite hop sensation that quickly dissapates. The actual flavor is lacking and I really didnít detect much of any unique flavor. The aftertaste is a little bitter that subsides after 10 - 15 seconds. I buy an occasional 6 pack when Iím somewhere I cannot get a better IPA.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Tesco, Stourbridge. Amber with a hoppy ginger aroma. Tastes like an English bitter - long bitter finish - but with slight fizz to the feel. Ok.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
355ml bottle from Tesco. From my limited experience of US beer Id say this has a typical US IPA flavour but I have definitely tasted better. Quite drinkable but really not great.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle @ home. Ambrata, limpida schiuma beige abbastanza grossolana abbastanza persistente. Aroma floreale, di miele díacacia, caramello, biscotto al burro, malto. Gusto abboccato allíingresso di miele e caramello, poi abbastanza amara, scorza di pompelmo decisamente luppolata. Poco corposa, abbastanza carbonata poco calda equilibrata, abbastanza armonica.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Clear amber with transient white head. Aroma a little musty and bready.
Bitter taste but not the hop profile you expect from an American IPA due to the chosen hop variety. A let down.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 1/20
I should have looked more closely at the label. I saw "American Craft Beer" and failed to spot "fuggles". Donít get me wrong, itís a decent traditional _British_ IPA, with good bitterness and well-balanced malt. But to call itself "American Craft" is, in my opinion, disingenuous. If it wasnít for that Iíd score it 2.9 overall

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle from tesco. It pours clear amber with a medium white head. The nose is grainy, grass, mild sweetness, earth and straw. The taste is grainy, dull bitterness, grass, florals, some sweetness and earth with a dry finish. Light-medium body and average carbonation. Fuggles IPA? No thanks. Really basic stuff.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle, 330 ml. Pours clear amber with half a finger of creamy white head, which promptly vanishes leaving little lacing. Weak aroma of honey, wholemeal bready malts, and a little bit of floral hops. Taste is quite watery with background notes of honey, bready and biscuit malts, citrus, and apple. Bitterness is only slight.Thin-bodied and highly carbonated, this is disappointing, and reminds me too much of Greene King.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle into a Leffe glass. Opaque copper, effervescent with a creamy head. Grassy aroma with some malt. Dry, bitter beer, pleasant. Crisp rather than light. This is reasonable stuff, I could have a couple of these happily if I was out with friends, but you would find something better in a proper beer joint.
