This light copper single hop India Pale Ale is brewed only with the Fuggles hops. It has a smooth, dry, and crisp flavor with floral aroma and apple plum palate.

Slight haze, deep yellow-amber with a sizable head. Smells somewhat sweet and malty. Some hops but not what I was hoping for. Or perhaps hopping for... Anyway, mouth feel was a bit lacking, thin. Easy drinking, non-assaulting. There was something about the smoothness of this beer that invited me to drink it very fast.

Bottle courtesy of Button. Who pays about a quid for it. And honestly, he’s paying over the odds...

Bottle. First off, if your on RateBeer I presume you like good beer so I have to say straight off the bat... do not buy this beer... I always try to find something positive to say about beers but to be honest there is not a lot to say about this one, its not horrible but its bit bland and remarkably tasteless, nothing really going on, bit of a chore to finish. Its possibly because its the light/doesn’t really taste of much English session pale ale that’s been done to death over here. I’m seeing so many of these US brewers make the mistake of exporting the English style ales for their headline UK beer; it fails to capitalise on the hunger for US craft beer and it just makes it another standard pale ale on the domestic market. Not very impressed with this beer however it was cheap and easily available - I wont do this one again but I will give Shipyard another chance.

Bottle. Hazy brown gold aroma is sweet malts, taste is sweet malt with earthy? hops. Not a fan to be honest. I suspect it's a little skunky though, might taste better fresh. As it is it doesn't really taste of much. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear golden with a medium but quickly fading white head that leaves good lacing. Nose doesn’t scream "IPA!" and offers more sweet grains than anything. A little earthy. Taste is lightly sweet and bitter, not really good. A little fruity but mostly just caramel flavors. Body is light to medium, carbonation medium-high. Uninspiring.

Bottle pours a clear gold with a slim white head. Aroma of mild hops, fruits. Taste is of caramel, somewhat sweet malts but bitterness is to the fore. Fair but it intrigued more than it ultimately delivered.

Bottle, 355ml. A copper colour with a small, quickly dissipating head. A slightly hoppy, musty aroma. Flavour is hoppy with caramel, citrus notes and a kick of coriander in the finish. Moderately bitter and moderate carbonation. Nothing to get excited about.

Bottle from Tesco, poured clear light brown with a lasting fine head, nose has hints of beeswax, cut foliage, a little earth, body has a herbal earthy bitter edge, a touch of citrus and bitter orange, a little nutty malt. It’s an IPA like GK IPA is an IPA - it’s basically a slightly hopped-up keg bitter.

Bottle at home from Tesco. Shitty twist of cap/ Aroma is skunky veg hops, mineral caramel malt. Golden orange clear pour with a creamy off white head that lasts. Flavour is minerally, metalic, vegetative hops and stale caramel malt. Palate is aggresive highly carbonation, thin. Just terrible.
