2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 puboflyons (1111) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - APR 14, 2008
From a 12 fl. oz (US) bottle. This really pours like a typical light with a golden yellow tone and a fizzy carbonated white head. My gut reaction was that it looked like any B-M-C I have ever had. Aroma is rather grassy with subtle malts. Flavor is also grassy and watery. This is not terribly better than any of the macro lights on the market today. In one sense it was a disappointment. Oh well, at least proceeds from my purchase go toward preserving lighthouses.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 changeup45 (1314) - Mount Dora, Florida, USA - APR 12, 2008
Golden colored topped with a thin white head that evaporates quickly. The aroma isn’t much different than that of a typical light beer. Relatively smooth, malty taste but there isn’t much there. Better than your average light beer.
1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 gunhaver (1030) - Tampa, Florida, USA - JAN 30, 2008
UPDATED: JUN 4, 2008 Bottle. Bottle is opened and the beer erupts out and gets everywhere. Great start. Crystal clear light yellow pour, with a fizzy head that disappears quickly. Aroma is skunky corn and wheat. There is literally no flavor I can detect. Flat and undrinkable. This sucks a lot.
1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 jhliesen (467) - West Melbourne, Florida, USA - JUL 8, 2007
Bottle--Very carbonated, the pour ended in a large, fizzy head that disappeared within seconds. The aroma was grassy with an undertone of corn. The taste was rather sharp and fit in with the rest of mass produced light beers. I do agree with the other reviewers about the lemon aftertaste, it does help, a little.
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 omhper (15600) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 21, 2007
Bottled at Loch Ness, Stockholm. Pale amber, minimal head. Mustardy paper aroma. Sweet and light bodied with a metalic edge. Some light grassy hops and vanilla detracts from the shortcomings of this too light beer, making it very drinkable. That metallic edge however keep reminding me of what I am drinking.
1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 Beerlando (3276) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUN 3, 2007
First (and hopefully last) taste 6/2/07. Yuck. Pale golden color with small bubbly head. Aroma and taste is like a sweet and skunky corn malt, with the slightest hint of lemon flavor on the finish. Reminds me of Modelo Especial, another awful beer. Scores slightly higher only due to the lemon finish but might as well be the same beer.
1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 hopscotch (7288) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAR 1, 2007
Bottle purchased at Bodega Blue... Clear and almost colorless. Almost aroma less and flavorless... just a wee bit tangy. Watery, spritzy mouthfeel. Short, watery, completely clean finish. Ok, time to break out the old adage again. Drinking this beer was like having sex in a canoe... Fucking way too close to water! There, I said it again. I said I wouldn’t, but I went and did!
