This is basically a boring and bland beverage. It has alcohol, which gives it some points and there is a slight maltyness in the flavor and a hint of hops in the meager finish. I note flavors of buttered corn and a hint of butterscotch. Ahhh, It’s Drinkable… but not great!

Pours a one-fingered bubbly, white head that goes very quickly and leaves no lace. Clear pale yellow color. Light carbonation and very light bodied. Starts with a sweet citrus flavor, watery, finish is boring but this has more flavor than a Bud Light and less than a Sam Adams Light. Typical session beer. 83¢ for a 12oz bottle from Cumberland Farms Convenience Greenland, NH.

Definitely light beer, especially in the taste department. It literally tastes watered down, and the only flavor is alot of malt. I thought it would be ok considering some of Shipyard’s other products, but I guess light beer is light beer.

Very unpleaseant beer, I too am sorry that Shipyard felt the need to brew a beer of this nature, it’s pale & straw colored, some bubbly & over-carbonated head, but it quickly disappeared to absoutely nothing after a very short time, the pouring of the beer sounded exactly like pouring a soda, mostly absent nose, only a small hint of a corn-type aroma, very light body, thin, watery, flavors were thin & watery as well, just a touch of malt profile but not much, this beer had very little to offer

3.2 beer is OK if you have flavor to go along with it. But this brew does not have eiether. I am sorry that shipyard felt the need to produce this

Part of a "Captain’s Collection" 12-pack. Pours a pale gold with a thin and quickly dissipating head. Aroma not half bad, similar to the smell of fresh lake water with some subtle fruit undertones. Flavor leaves a lot to be desired. Quite bland and slightly metallic. Brief undertone of frurtiness and freshly mown grass makes an appearance but does not linger enough to make it interesting. Mouthfeel is metallic and dry. Had much better from these folks.

Pale, pale, paleishly pale ambery color...no head of which to speak Aroma: clean...vapid...non-existent, really...lagery, with a trace of corn, if I’m not imagining it... Taste: none....oh, maybe a little, if I look really hard...here we go...mmMMMMM...okay...a trifle caramelly sweet, if only by a hair...finish vanishes rapidly ....positively no body, no texture I’m sorry this thing exists, and that anyone thought that it should, that any effort was wasted on production, design, promotion, ...it’s a waste..... Got this in a "The Captain’s Collection" sampler 12-pack, 3 of ’em...hey, who wants 2 bottles of nothing?

Nice golden color, small white foamy head that lasted for a short time then faded to leave little behind.Light sweet malt aroma with maybe some corn like qualities coming through and a bit of lemon with just a hint of hops.Fairly cerealish. The flavor is very light with just a mild malt some nice carbonation and a bit of hops. The cereal flavor comes through quite well, with a very mild sweet side and just over all fairly watery and thin as hell.It will make a nice hot summer cool down brew but if it’s flavor you want then search somewhere else because it’s not here.
