12 ounce bottle - $2.29 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours a clear, yellow body, a humble appearance, with a slim, very short-lived white head.

Smell: Smells like those watermelon Jolly Rancher candies first and foremost, with a thin cereal-hinted beer underneath.

Taste: Minimal pale malts, a bit of crunchy wheat accompanies the sweet, sugary watermelon flavor. Near nil hop character with just a teensy bit of balancing bitterness. Sweetish, watermelon-flavored finish with a small zip of suds and last minute twang of additive.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. A little over medium carbonation.

Overall: Nice melons!

1 July 2014, bottle. yellow, clear, no bubbles. nose is some watermelon, some floral bathroom potpourri. thin body and mildly fizzy. hard to place the exact melon flavor. i don’t think it is entirely watermelon or honeydew. maybe more honeydew than anything. meh. melon and beer isn’t my favorite combo.

Appearance:It has a very clear color, golden color. Aroma: It has a strong aroma of watermelons; which surprised me because most beers I have tried which had fruit in them I usually could just barely make out the aroma notes of the fruit, this beer you can really smell it. It is a very pleasing and clean smell and I couldn’t help but keep sniffing it the entire time I was drinking it. Taste: Sweet and sour notes are what you taste first. Upfront watermelon notes. Tart; it made my mouth pucker a few times, I picked up a sweet taste of cotton candy in the after taste, bitter at the end but doesn’t last long. Palate: Tangy, like drinking a tart fruit juice, very light feeling on the tongue. Overall: I really enjoyed this beer, I had been wanting to try it but couldn’t find any store nearby that sold it in singles. It was worth the wait though. It was a hot summer day which made it really refreshing. It’s sweet and tangy, like a watermelon jolly rancher as some here have described it. I will definitely be buying another bottle of this.

Light gold, clear color, tall and persistent white head. Inebriating and fruity, phenolicc and yeasty nose, difficult to place, probably melon or washed rind cheese. Light body, intense flavor, low heat but some crispness, avg length. Very bitter and dry, but some sweet notes appear later. Fruity, chemical flavor, interesting because of its strong character not really pleasant. Perhaps if served very cold... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tastes like you would imagine. Like a jolly rancher mixed with a beer. But, not overly sweet. Strong aroma. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Translucent gold with a short white head. Nose is candied watermelon. Kind of like a Jolly Roger candy. Some malt and caramel in there as well. Taste is less sweet with more malt, grains, caramel, watermelon and berries. Body is light-medium with a soft, bubbly carbonation. Finishes with more watermelon candy, berries, caramel notes, grains and sweet malt notes.

Poured out of the bottle dark yellow, no head at all from the start and smelling of watermelon candy. I am overwhelmed by the sugary, grainy taste of this brew, and disappointed that the ’essence’of melon that I was expecting was more like being hit over the head with it.

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours gold with a slight white head. It does smell like watermelon. Med minus body. It’s so sweet it’s like Jolly Rancher candy. Meh.
