4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy copper with darker rings of suspended sediment, which youíd probably never see if it werent for this Spiegelau. The head is foamy and lacy and has aromas of biscuity and nutty bitter bread. The palate is cool and firm. The flavor is strong and balanced with a bitter beginning and a strong malt backbone. It finishes full, cool and refreshing. It could be this glassware.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle in a plastic cup. Pours copper with a lacy, cream-colored head. Aroma of citrusy hops and some caramel hops. The flavor is the same, really standard for an IPA. Average texture. A good, hoppy IPA.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Serving: Draft at Founding Farmers. It pours a nice copper color with a dense head. The nose had fairly bright hop notes with a touch of pine a solid bread and caramel background. The flavor had lots of earthy hops with caramel and a little chocolate. Definitely English in nature. Medium bodied. Okay, but wasnít that impressive.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Strong aroma is very hoppy and has a sharp resiny undertone. It pours a clear honey-amber with a fairly thick and persistent buff head. Sassy flavor has a strong hoppy core on which it drapes resin, bitter wood and malt notes. Smooth, firm, lively texture rounds out a very pleasing brew. Go ahead, monkey with it!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
0.355l bottle from Whole Foods Market Tribeca. This is a clear deep dark almost amber brown one with a medium sized quite big bubbled white top. Smells fresh and a bit sweet. Fruity nectar hops with peaches, pineapple and some grassy hops. Quite nice. It has a good resinous bitterness in the taste. Soft oily on the mouthfeel and the carbonation is big bubbly average. A bit almost wood-bitter flavors. A little bit of alcohol is found, and the resinous almost pungent hops is really lingering in the aftertaste. Iím really thirsty now, so I guess anything would taste good, but this was actually quite tasty. 21.06.2013

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
473 mL can from LCBO served cool in a tulip glass. Murky copper with a full orange-tan head. Acetaldehyde and boiled celery, British malts beneath that mess, little else. Medium body, relaxed effervescence. Acetaldehyde and celery again, a little dry, British malt, slightly floral, not good; dry with moderate bitterness and a dry caramel and acetaldehyde finish. Fail.
