Poured from a bottle into a tulip glass. Light foam that dissipates very quickly to a ring around the edge. The color is a wonderful crystal clear orange. One of the best looking pumpkin ales I’ve seen. Nice scent. Prominent pumpkin and spice. Slightly sweet. The smell is mostly gone after a few minutes. The taste is primarily pumpkin and spice. Somewhat bitter but I can’t tell if it’s hops or the spices. The mouth feel is unusually light for a 9% beer. It drinks almost like a soda. No noticeable alcohol taste. Overall this is a good pumpkin ale but not as good as I expected. Does not stand out in the crowd. The light mouth feel is unusual.
**The label is very cool. It alone is enough to convince me to buy it. Very nice work.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Naama’s place. Thanks zvikar. Clear orange. Aroma of lots of pumpkin, honey, cinnamon and nutmeg. Sweet flavor with pumpkin, caramel, honey, lots of spices, alcohol and a drier, spicy-bitterish finish. Medium-bodied, a bit sticky.

I’m not the biggest Pumpkin ale fan but they are hard to avoid this time of year. My wife buys them more than me and she got this one. However I don’t think she realized it was a 9% abv. and had to share a bit with me. The aroma has a faint spicy aroma. The flavor is filled with spice, sweetness, and obviously pumpkin flavor. Their is a pleasant gala apple souriness to it. I like this pumpkin ale a lot and am glad it is overly sweet like some pumpkin ales i have had. I find a bit off alcohol heat in the finish which is pleasant with the complex spiciness.

Pours a slightly hazy copper with a small white head and a little bit of lace. Aroma is spicy, nutmeg, cloves, all spice, pumpkin pie filling, cinnamon, and some caramel malty backbone. Flavour is nutmeg, cinnamon, all spice, light alcohol as it warms, caramel, and mild pumpkin pie filling. Nice balance for a 9 point beer!

Pours a clear orangish Auburn color with a frothy white head. Aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin, yam, allspice and sweet malt. Taste is pumpkin, steamed yam, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and a nice natural taste into the finish. Medium high body with a touch of alcohol but overall very smooth for its high abv.

Cloudy rusty orange color. Spicy sweet aroma. Taste- rich, malty and spicy. Cinnamon, nutmeg and vegetal flavors. Grassy bitterness cuts the sweetness a bit. One of the finer pumpkin ales I've had.

Soft, distinctly honey and vanilla aroma with caramel
Reminds me of Bit-o-honey candies. Clear gold, tight ivory head. Lightly spicy, low bittering, cookieish. Lightish body. Boozy. Meh.

Orange gold in color... Aroma is light spices, soap, cider, potpourri, and sweet sugar malts... Flavor is light malts, brown sugar, spices and nuts... Light nutty spicy finish... Actually enjoyed this more than the barrel aged version, had them side by side... Solid
