Coloração caramelo alaranjado típico das imperial IPA, com espuma bege de média persistência.
Aroma de malte, caramelo, pão e levemente lupulado. No sabor sobressai o caramelo.
Não percebi cítrico. Bom corpo, álcool perceptível mas bem inserido.
Boa imperial IPA.

Pours a nice med dark orange ,opaque, thick white head.
Aroma- citrus, floral, nothing overpowering to the nose.
Taste- light sweetness, lightly bitter, once again nothing overpowering
Palate- medium body, sticky, average carbonation, light bitterness,
Overall- Nothing stands out quite easy to drink.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
22oz bottle. Pours a hazy amber-red color with a medium-sized beige head. Aroma is hoppy with caramel and toffee notes and a bit of spiciness. Grapefruit flavors are first to hit the palate. A bit of maltiness and some alcohol warming round out the finish. This is more along the lines of a hoppy barleywine than a Double IPA. I enjoyed it.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Rusted copper pour with an eggshell head that doesn’t leave much lace. There’s a lot of raisin and prune on the nose here with some dank spruce notes. The same can be said of the palate. I’d have guessed this was old as shit but the BB date is June 2015. This stuff drinks like a light barleywine. Decent enough but godawful if we’re talking style.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz brown bottle. A clear orange pour, head is tan. Some ok looking lacing. Hoppy nose, big citrus peels, some caramel notes. Taste has caramel and toffee sweet malts, zippy citrus hops. Finishes with lingering caramel, pine, orange peels, a little alcohol and a grapefuity bite. Medium level of bitterness. Overall, an alright double IPA, not very agressive, drinkable and balanced for it’s size, better than I was expecting actually. From The Shipyard IPA mixed pack.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
355ml bottle pours a golden amber color with a finger of white head that settles to leave some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel and fruits with some citrus highlights. Taste is a citrus and pine hop bitterness with a nice caramel and grainy malt sweetness. Medium bodied with decent carbonation. A pretty nice DIPA that is balanced and tasty. Recommended.
