| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 3, 2010 Bomber. Pours a slightly hazy orange with a thinning head. Aroma is only slightly to moderately hoppy- medium caramel malts come through, toffee, toast, - hops are slight citrus, grass, floral, and phenolic. Has a crackery bland caramel malt medium sweetness, and lightly bitter, with orange and citrus hops throughout- only it is very slight. Good for shipyard, but not even close to a good DIPA. . alexsdad06 (1138), Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 31, 2009 22 oz. bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small white head. The aroma is caramel malt, fruity emphasizing peaches, and somewhat floral in nature. The flavor is caramel malt, peach fruity, floral with a harsh bitterness in the finish. The alcohol becomes apparent as it warms. Better than the other Pugsley’s offerings, but not something I would seek out again. argo0 (7044), Washington DC, USA

I felt this beer was understated in the hops. I think this would be a good barleywine, but it was not very hoppy except in the finishing bitterness. Slightly sweet and very malty. aroma: bready-biscuity-malt dark-citrusy-hops.
flavor: ^bready-biscuity-malt ^leafy-citrus-hops, hops are not super bitter or bright but blend right into the crml flavors (like candied hop cones).
