The citrus is kind of weak, flavor is cheap, sour and watery. InBev needs to stay out of this style. I mean don’t they own Hoegaarden technically? How did they manage to fail so bad? promtheus (68), Richmond, Virginia, USA

Aroma of wheat and citrus sugar. Taste is initially a surprisingly smooth wheat beer. The aftertaste is of adjunct citrus; a little heavy on the orange. Not offensive. I guess I would call it a macro Belgian white. Not as good as some of the true Belgians, but I don’t mind it too much. stormriderWI (9), Siren, Wisconsin, USA does not count | 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Jan 29, 2010 I have to start examining the lables when I’m trying to find a new beer. Had no idea this was a bud product. This is simply a boring shtty beer. It’s smell a little citirsy, a little head not much. Taste is bland and unsatisfying. Sucks. mansquito (870), Boston/Philadelphia, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jan 24, 2010 Pours a hazy orange/yellow, with no proper head action to speak of. Aroma is just a bunch of citrus and a modicum of wheat. Taste is pretty much the same... along with a crappy macro undertone (you guys know what I mean). Basically, the only reason I got this was because there was a deal at some Williamsburg bar for this beer... 3 bucks a pint. But I would prefer to never have it again. beerdad (100), Kansas, USA

Pours orange yellow with minimal white head. Aromas of orange and coriander.Smelled of hay as well, but that could have been the stables with horses nearby. Tastes similar. Medium sweetness, with a light body. Overall, a decent offering from AB--still not up to par of most smaller breweres who can take the time and effort for a great beer. weihenweizen (138), West Virginia, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jan 10, 2010 Refrigerated bottle poured into a glass. Pours a hazy light orange with some head. Taste is mostly orange with some wet wheat. Not a good example of a Belgian White. elgiacomo (125), Chickamauga, Georgia, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 23, 2009 12oz bottle, served cold. Pours light orange with a one-finger white head, retains a decent cap. Aroma is citrus, orange especially. Flavor is light citrus, key word: light. Rather watery. Makes me think of carbonated orange Gatorade or sugarless orange Kool-Aid. Witbiers aren’t a style I usually go for so I don’t have much to compare it to. Pretty weak overall though, although I don’t find it offensive. Would be nice on a summer day after some yard work, etc. BVery (720), Burnsville, Minnesota, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 18, 2009 TAP: fairly weak attempt at a Belgian White by a brewer who shoudn’t be attempting such things (apparently). Light orange pour, hazy, white head. Very mild wheat and citrus on the nose and taste. Flat and boring, even as compared to Blue Moon.
