Am I being fair? I think so, although I knew in advance that this one was a Bud, in part because of the ridiculous label. Cloudy blond, thin in the mouth, pseudo-Belgian pseudo-wheat. And yet, stick a lime in it and I bet you could happily drink this with barbecue.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy light golden color. Aroma of wheat and citrus. This beer was actually not too bad. Very refreshing. I’d drink a few of these of a hot day. Flavors of wheat, some spice and citrus.

draught from Oktoberfest- had no idea that this was an AB brew when I tried, which is good, I didn’t have that predecided this is crap notion. Not that it wasn’t any great shakes anyways, poured hazy blonde, big big white head. nose is really spicy, and sort of skunky. like a wierd candle from yankee candle. taste was really wheety. some citrus and spice in there as well. the thing that absolutely killed it was the carbonation. it was probably the most overcarbonated beer i’ve ever had. other than that it was drinkable.

Poured from the bottle into a pint glass. Pour produced a cloudy yellow body, topped by a small, white head of foam. The aroma was crisp, with notes of wheat and citrus. A little thin on the body, almost watery. A slight tang of citrus is the dominant palate, with nothing else behind it other than a slight yeasty aftertaste. This would be a good beer for the summer months, light, easy on the palate, without being mundane. This beer could act as a fine gateway beer for those folks not ready for the more nuanced brews.

The beer has a strong orange smell and flavor. It has the appearence of a classic Belgian white. Not bad for a hot summer day.

On draft at a small company outing at Café Gellato’s in Newark, ordered as a "Belgian Witbier like Blue Moon" and as being from California or something. Well, as soon as I started drinking it, I said, indeed, this is better than Blue Moon, but it’s still a bit watery. I said, are you sure this isn’t some A-B type of new product? The waiter later returned to confirm so, as my colleagues were humored by my beer inquisitiveness and near snobbery. In any event, this wasn’t bad stuff, it just wasn’t solid. The pour was typical for the style, slightly more amber in shade than my favorite truly white Hoegaarden, ok white colored head. The aroma was oranges, light coriander. The flavor followed, heavily citrus/orangey, a bit bready, finishing with quite faint spicing, the latter which could have made more of a showing. Lighter on the flavor and mouthfeel, but still one I could have sipped a few more of that night.

This stuff isn’t half bad, actually. High quality Belgian wheat beer with more flavor than some of the micro wheat beers out there. A little apricot, honey, and a smidge of citrus make this one not great, but good. Thumbs up overall.

Had a glass at LBI Chowderfest 2008. Pours out a cloudy light yellowish color with slight orange tinge to it. Moderate white head. Aroma is of some yeast and a little citrus. Very drinkable, like a Hoe with training wheels. Expectations weren’t high because of it being an AB beer, and it didn’t let down at least. Taste was of some citrus, some yeast, but really nothing much going on.
