hopson (591), Williamsville, New York, USA Sep 29, 2008 draft- another pleasant ab surprise that I had a day after trying and liking their Jack’s pumpkin ale- This one also fit the bill for a Belgian Wit- nice color, pleasant coriander and orange peel notes- high drinkability. DandyWolfFloyd (331), Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 28, 2008 I wonder how many of us bring our biases to the table. I tried not to, and actually found this to be an acceptable session. It’s aroma has a nice aroma, with pleasant yeast aromas, some cloves, and some citrus, presumably lemon and orange. It’s a glowing cloudy yellow, with no head persay, and only a minor collar. It’s flavor is very pleasant, but a bit safe, nice yeast bodies combined with nice wheat and citrus zest. Smooth and easy drinking. brentfeesh (1030), Gadsden, Alabama, USA Sep 23, 2008 Sampled at the cabin with Scott and John. Golden straw color with a wispy head (light haze). You can smell the citrus and maybe some lime notes. Fruity but metallic. The flavor is lightly yeasty with cardamom as an afterthought. A bit of citrus, orange is the most noticeable. Not terrible but overly yeasty. Carbonated medium body. SynergyXJ (506), Blacksburg, Virginia, USA Sep 21, 2008 Bottle, #402 Hazy yellow pour with decent head. Crisp citrus aroma and flavor. Pretty good for an AB! rcweir (119), Massachusetts, USA Sep 20, 2008 Dull, cloudy medium orange with thin head. Citrus aroma. Flavor starts with some acidity from strong carbonation followed by bitter orange finish. A little sweet. captianoats (30), Jasper, Indiana, USA Sep 17, 2008 Bottle: It smells of citrus and wheat, flavor is much the same. It has a slightly spicy aftertaste. It’s fair as far has belgian whites go, not something I’ll ever crave. pacaus (49), Dublin, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 17, 2008 Decent Belgium white. I would prefer a good Blanche de Bruxelles or Hoegaarden but do find it to have a decent taste with the wheat and hints of spice and fruit. I would consider this a good drinkable beer for the price. bconley (351), Fern Park, Florida, USA Sep 17, 2008 Not good. Smell was boring. Belgian style beer is usually much sweeter smelling. has kind of a citrusy hint, but that could have been the orange slice. overall...not good.
