arondee (176), Tucson, Arizona, USA Jul 13, 2008 Poured a light opaque orange color with very little head. Smells fruity, not unlike Sunkist. Tastes like a banana/orange fizzy drink. This is OK if you’re really thirsty and someone offers it to you, otherwise pass this one up at the grocery store. shevanel (9), Arizona, USA does not count Jul 13, 2008 Utterly dissapointing white ale. Completely average appearance, with dull uninspiring aroma (smelled just like Budweiser, wonder why?). Palate was medium to full, very dry for a wheat beer with a moderate astringent feel. Flavor was very acidic with a thankfully short finish. djbuddha (90), Many, Louisiana, USA Jul 12, 2008 I found this to be very nice considering the source. Very citrusy, crisp, and clean flavor. I will be having more! ucusty (1871), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Jul 12, 2008 Hazy orange pour, big citrus aroma. Flavor was very fruity in the tropical style. Orange, lemon, grapefruit, and banana. Didn’t get much, if any coriander flavor. gws57 (1131), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA Jul 10, 2008 Had this one bottled, thanks Tania! Hazy, medium yellow pour with a bubbly white head that didn’t stick around, no lacing. A bit of citrus in the nose. A bit wheaty and a bit citrusy, with notes of orange and banana, but nothing to write home about. Sharp, fizzy mouthfeel and a sickly sweet finish complete an underwhelming brew. ndfreak77 (76), USA Jul 9, 2008 Let sit in my freezer for about 1.5 hours and served ice cold. Has a very refreshing citrus flavor. I actuallly liked this one a little better than Lienenkugels and Blue Moon. Alemaster (3), Keyport, New Jersey, USA does not count Jul 8, 2008 On tap at the Office Bar and Grill. A ’drinkable’ wit offering from A/B, quite similar in texture/mouthfeel to Blue Moon.
An almost overpowering orange flavor aspect with no detectable hops. As with the Blue moon, there is very little (if any) yeast component and, for the style, is quite watery. On a hot day, this would pair well with, say, a shrimp cocktail or a Cobb salad. But if Hoegaarden is on the beer list, don’t even think of drinking this otherwise basic ’wit’-go with the real deal. Arnie (272), Chicagoland, IL, Illinois, USA Jul 4, 2008 Bottled. Coriander and mild orange on nose and palate. Bready mouth feel when drinking. Not a bad representation of my least favorite brewing style.
