Bottle pours hazed straw yellow with a smallish head and some lace. The aroma is clearly of yeasty clove and citrus. The flavor is yeasty, somewhat spicy, and very off. The palate is decent enough. This really just does not work for me.

Pretty good, especially since I wasn’t expecting much. Similar to blue moon after you sqeeze an orange in it, but I thought is was a little better. Highly drinkable and refreshing. Citrusy, but not overly sweet. No complexity, but decent flavor.

Golden pour on tap at the bar. Nice taste. Not too sweet but definite presence of orange and citrus. Much better alternative than any other lager at the bar.

This Wit beer pours a slightly hazy gold color from tap. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is citrusy and spicy, orange peel. A medium to light bodied Wit. The malts are fruity and sweet. Lot of citrus and orange peel, not a lot of spices. Nice carbonation. Light and refreshing summer beer, wish it had a little more flavor. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Sampled this on draft. Cloudy & hazy golden color, smelled like a glass of V8 and didn’t taste much different, maybe without the tomato flavor, but it tasted like pureed vegtables, to its credit, this beer did have a nice citrusy flavor that had a refreshing body, had a bit of a sour finish, a decent attempt at moving in on the Belgian white beer market, especially trying to cut in on Blue Moon’s drinkers, but this doesn’t have the flavor or body to do it, give me a Hoegaarden any day of the week instead of this

Bottle. Slight yeasty and citrus aroma. Poured a cloudy orange with a yellow-orange head. Standard yeasty, wheat beer flavor with citrus notes with a slight, spicy kick. A solid brew, and pretty good for a macro brew product from A-B.

12oz bottle. I didn’t pour it out of the bottle, so I can’t fairly evaluate the appearance (other ratings seem to present an average of 3 for appearance, so that’s what I used). Aroma is light some notes of wheat and some notes of citrus. Flavor is light with distinct notes of malted wheat, subtle coriander, and firm citrus zest character (though I expected more from the label art and from its description of the numerous citrus peels used, including lime and lemon). There is a slight residual sweetness that fades by mid-palate, replaced with a subtle, grassy hop note. The finish is medium (somewhat dry) with wheat and a light dose of citrus fruit. The mouthfeel is medium in body with appropriate carbonation (not spritzy, but well-carbonated). Overall, this is a decent, drinkable ale. Unfortunately, Anheuser-Busch seems to have targeted Blue Moon when designing the beer instead of a more authentic wit - like Hoegaarten, Allagash, or St. Bernardus (to name just a few).

Draft. Hazy orange color with very little head, served with an orange that I quickly removed. Smells mildly citrusy. Decent flavors of orange, lemons, and just a faint hint of spice, but there was so little of any flavors here it was pretty hard to distinguish what it was. If I’m really thirsty, this might be a refreshing drink, but it really doesn’t offer much as far as taste.
