| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | May 27, 2008 12oz bottle. I didn’t pour it out of the bottle, so I can’t fairly evaluate the appearance (other ratings seem to present an average of 3 for appearance, so that’s what I used). Aroma is light some notes of wheat and some notes of citrus. Flavor is light with distinct notes of malted wheat, subtle coriander, and firm citrus zest character (though I expected more from the label art and from its description of the numerous citrus peels used, including lime and lemon). There is a slight residual sweetness that fades by mid-palate, replaced with a subtle, grassy hop note. The finish is medium (somewhat dry) with wheat and a light dose of citrus fruit. The mouthfeel is medium in body with appropriate carbonation (not spritzy, but well-carbonated). Overall, this is a decent, drinkable ale. Unfortunately, Anheuser-Busch seems to have targeted Blue Moon when designing the beer instead of a more authentic wit - like Hoegaarten, Allagash, or St. Bernardus (to name just a few). gotohelunc (473), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 9/20 | May 27, 2008 Draft. Hazy orange color with very little head, served with an orange that I quickly removed. Smells mildly citrusy. Decent flavors of orange, lemons, and just a faint hint of spice, but there was so little of any flavors here it was pretty hard to distinguish what it was. If I’m really thirsty, this might be a refreshing drink, but it really doesn’t offer much as far as taste. WesKBob (321), Bethany, Oklahoma, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 26, 2008 A nice hazy yellow colr with a thin head. Lots of citrus in the aroma, with more citrus and a bit of coriander in the flavor. A bit too much spice--it almost seems like they couldn’t quite make up their mind what they were going for, so they just threw everything in. A good summer drinker and certainly not the worst beer I’ve ever had. ericandersnavy (1051), crossroads, Texas, USA

Poures a cloudy light orange/yellow, fizzy white head, ok retention. Aroma of citris (Coriander, orange, lemon). Flavor is much the same, light sweetness, citris. High carbonation, light body. Overall, not bad on a hot day. like today... thill25 (216), Orlando, Florida, USA

Flavors of citrus, grains, very small amount of spices (coriander)...Palate was thin, as were the flavors. Easy to drink, and quite refreshing. Not a bad beer, just nothing I’d purchase again... | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 26, 2008 Cloudy yellow with a quarter-inch white head. Aroma of citrus, cloves. Flavor is VERY citrusy, but not naturally so. Too much orange, not enough wheat character. A pale imitation. Meh. clong83 (243), San Diego, California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 25, 2008 Weird witbier. Seems a little harsh on the palate, not very smooth. Orange flavor is there and dominant. Mild wheat tones as well. Not watery or thin, but not full either. Just kind of middle of the pack all the way around...
