The beer pours to a murky pale pine colored body with a thin white head. Tons of visible carbonation. The aroma is a bit on the light-side with pale malts, light orange peel. The flavor is actually quite good. Tart wheat beets a lightly but balanced spiciness of coriander and peppery grains of paradise. The palate is quite refreshing, carbonated, crisp, and finishes clean. A very well done brew for it’s simplicity and drinkability. SSSteve (2056), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Feb 23, 2008 (draught) hazy yellow gold with generous white head. Faint citrus aroma (it was served with an orange wedge, so that helped). Flavor was mildly spiced witbier with a hint of citrus. Really not too bad. mgoy (343), Oak Brook, Illinois, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 19, 2008 Shock Top Belgian White is a pale and cloudy beer. While the beer pours well and a nice off-white head forms initially, it immediately evaporates. A very mild aroma is a mixture of orange and lime.
With very mild flavors of orange, lime and coriander, this light wheat beer finishes watery.

Aroma – Light Belgian aroma, very light citrus also in the nose.
Appearance – Light pale Yellow in color, Nice head and clear.
Flavor – Lots of wheat and light citrus flavor. The Belgian yeast was very light to taste.
Palate – Nice easy Mouthfeel, good texture with a dry finish.
Overall – This was a decent beer noting too special. The label was more than the beer for flavor. I was expecting a huge fruit flavor. This was a nice mass drinking beer.

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Feb 13, 2008 Hazy golden yellow hue with white head. Grassy wheat aroma with a hint of citrus. Good carbonation and light body. A bit of lemony flavor, but mainly malt taste. A sticky spicy finish. For a belgian style wheat it misses quite wide. An average wheat... sure I guess.
