| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 31, 2008 Had this at the Budweiser brewery in Fort Collins, and at Old Chicago. I had it for 2 reasons:
1. I Hadn’t had it before when I went to the Bud brewery and got a free sample.
2. I needed it to chalk up another beer on my World Beer Tour card at Old Chicago.
Otherwise, this beer isn’t really worth your time. kidmartinek (980), austin, Texas, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 28, 2008 Pours cloudy golden yellow with a small head. Looks like a good hefe. Smells of orange peel, lemon and corriader. Tastes like a good hefeweizen without having to add the orange slice. Pretty darn good, although the after taste, though short lived, has a bit of funk to it. mgumby10 (1850), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jan 27, 2008 Draft. Pours a light gold with a medium, foamy white head. Smelled of light citrus and mild wheat, nothing really stands out. The flavor also was a little bland, nothing offensive, but nothing really good either. Some light orange citrus, with no real wheat definition whatsoever. definitely not a good example of this style. Nothing much else to say about it except I wont be reaching for it again. hopscotch (5472), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jan 27, 2008 Draft... Jupiter Craft Brewers Festival ‘08... Cloudy, straw-colored ale with a large, frothy, white head. Pretty good retention. Grainy aroma with very mild coriander. Light-bodied and watery with tingly carbonation. Not a lot of flavor to it... mostly seltzer water. Mildly acidic and lightly sweet with almost no bitterness and the most faint traces of smoke and spice. Short, crisp, muted citrus finish. bhensonb (4245), Woodland, California, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 26, 2008 Brown bottle from Hi-Time. Aroma of wheat. I’d be imagining fruit or spice. Hazy light gold color with a decent white head that tries to lace. Near medium body with creamy carbonation. The flavor is wheat, with a little of that standard AB corniness. There is the barest trace of orange peel and perhaps clove. A little lemon comes along. It’s not much of a wit, and lacks the banane for a hefe. However, it is ever so much more drinkable than Bud. After some time a little more fruit and spice builds in the mouth. I’d say it’s definitely drinkable, but applying Marcus’ rule I’ll find a better beer. ketchepillar (478), Viña del Mar, Chile
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Jan 26, 2008 Sampled at brewery. Aroma starts out alright with a little spice, but quickly becomes putrid, smelling like vomit. Taste is not of vomit, but might as well be; starts with nail polish and banana medicine, and quickly is taking over by some terrible clove flavor. Pretty much undrinkable. thekmoonlegend (93), Lynn, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 24, 2008 A failed attempt at competing with Blue Moon. Cloudy gold color, citrus nose. Tastes of yeast and lemon, but flats out quickly, coats tongue and finishes soapy. Give me a Blue Moon instead!
