turbo (1254), Arizona, USA Jan 13, 2008 Cloudy orange with very light white head.
Aroma and flavor of oranges and lemmons.
Nice sharp citrus, orange finish.
Not bad and would make a great starter beer. JPDIPSO (4865), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Jan 10, 2008 Cloudy golden color with a diminished off white head. Orange drink and light malt aromas. A hint of cardamom. Somewhat thick in feel, but ok. LIght watery tastes in the liquid. Sweet juice drink with oranges and mild lemons. Touch of malt and wheat. Fairly sharp in the finish and linger. A bit of lactose in the linger is quite odd. I’ve had worse, but not to many. Earlier Rating: 4/24/2007 Total Score: 2.3 Cloudy straw color with a tall stable white head. Heavy sheet of lace. A lemon custard aroma, that’s about it. Lemon grass and wheat flavors. Quite thin in flavor. Very dry finish and really no linger. There are a few honey, lemon, key lime and vanilla flavors mid quaff but short lived and vapid are the flavors. wilkie (1189), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Jan 3, 2008 Rating from Spring 07. Was fooled into thinking this was a craft beer. Pours yellow, hazy, with fizzy white head that dissipates rather quickly. Aroma is some yeast, little malt, but already seems watery and I haven’t had a sip yet. Flavor IS watery yeast, citrus, and very lacking. NO spice. MrBunn (1523), Western, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 1, 2008 Bottle. Pour is a somewhat hazy gold with a nice white head. Aromas are interesting: cloves and coriander are the most obvious, but there is a nice bit of an orange zest to it and some yeasty grain notes. Flavor is adequate, but comes off as slightly watery. Spicy and citrus flavors blend together fairly well, but something falls apart a little when the grain/malt should kick in, which makes it seem a little bland and it finishes with a little bit of a sour aftertaste. Still, from AB, this is very nice. dancatts (91), Pennsylvania, USA Dec 26, 2007 Surprisingly good brew. Poured a cloudy yellow-orange color. Had an orange flavor with a real crispness to it. What was real surprising was the blend of all the spices that really complemented each other and evened everything out to a very satisfying taste. tomciccateri (496), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA Dec 26, 2007 From a 12-ounce brown bottle, poured an opaque pale straw color. with a slight head. Fine bubbles, light-bodied, well-carbonated, with a slight citrusy aroma. Slightly sweet wheaty flavor, lingering spicey character and dry finish. natedoggkc (164), Lenexa, Kansas, USA Dec 24, 2007 This one was a sample bottle from the AB rep. Was told that it was taking the place of the Spring Heat Spiced Wheat. It poured an opaque yellow with a full head. The spices and orange are definately present and wasn’t too bad. I think this will do well as an all year beer. Ron (1002), Rochester, New York, USA Dec 23, 2007 On tap at McGregor’s. Average white head and a decent citrus aroma. Flavor had some orange/lemon and alittle spice. Only slight sourness at end. Very good. Earlier Rating: 7/19/2007 Total Score: 3 Had one bottle after done staining the side of my house. Poured a large white head that died fast. Reg. unfiltered look of a wheat. Lively with bubbles. Aroma and flavor both had lemon, spices and some wheat. Very refreshing. I enjoyed it.
