jb (1024), Rochester, New York, USA Dec 23, 2007 Always get snuck one AB product at every outing and this was no exception. This one was true to the style and enjoyable though. Heavy on the oranges in the nose. Hazy pale appearance, sour palate. KAggie97 (2406), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA Dec 20, 2007 Tap at Molly MaGuries. Pours a cloudy, dull yellow with a lifeless head. Smells of faint citrus skunk. Average mouthfeel. Not bad; refreshing. Earlier Rating: 4/25/2007 Total Score: 3.1 Bottle. Pours a cloudy, light yellow with hints of lemon peel and white grape in the nose. Blunt lemon and orange flavors, rounded out by a blend of other light, citrusy fruits. Average mouthfeel. Not bad; good bbq beer. malrubius (969), Valley Stream, New York, USA Dec 8, 2007 Sampled as the "new" Shock Top. 12 ounce bottle in Hoegaarden glass. Pale hazy yellow orange with white head. Minimal aroma of coriander. I guess I’m supposed to put an orange slice on top so I can’t tell that it has no aroma. Minimum possible honey sweetness matched with minimum possible citrus-orange followed by minimum possible coriander for minimum possible flavor. Maximum possible water flavor. Refreshing as a mountain stream in Belgium. Oh yeah, there are no mountains in Belgium. This is Bud’s answer to Coors’s Blue Moon in the competition to see who can make the worst Belgian-style white. Oh, but I’m told this one is cheaper. Bud wins again! Styles (1653), Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA Dec 1, 2007 On tap at The Oak Cafe, 3-22-06. Hazy bright yellow, white head fades to ring after a few minutes. Aroma rather muted wheat and faint fruity esters. Flavor much the same, don’t understand where the spice in the name comes from, because I can’t get any in the beer. Tad thin for a wheat. SeizOne (29), USA Sep 23, 2007 I gotta give it up to Anheuser-Busch for there craft beers. I look foreword to this again when it comes out. HELL Yeah. Optigon (561), Bloomington, Indiana, USA Sep 17, 2007 Pours orange with a moderate head. Aroma is rather bland, standard wheat. Some citrus. Flavor is pretty citrus with some very minor spice qualities. Moderate mouth feel. RSRIZZO (1345), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Sep 16, 2007 Had on 6/6/2007. Aroma is a nice lemon scent. Color is a hazy yellow with good carbonation and a nice white head. Taste is peppery and light. Starting with a light body it goes down easy with a crisp feel. Finish comes out well with a peppery citrus flavor and a faint bitterness, then ends with a lemon/coriander taste. wshores (57), Saltillo, Texas, USA Sep 9, 2007 on tap at chilis its pretty much impossible to get a good beer there. I generally like the unspiced wheat beers, but this one is fairly good.
