glennmastrange (809), hobe sound, Florida, USA Aug 1, 2009 Bottle. Aromas of straw, orange and medicine permeate. Head is small, frothy, white with no lacing and is almost fully diminishing. Flavor starts lightly sweet and moderatley acidic, then finishes lightly acidic. Palate is light to medium, watery with a fizzy carbonation. A very light beer even for a Witbier, but it does have a few wheat ale essences. Block (363), West Lafayette, Indiana, USA Jul 31, 2009 Citrus aroma with a fruity and bread taste. Overall not too bad. Light and easy to drink; however, seemed kind of rough around the edges. ghawener (952), San Salvador, El Salvador Jul 31, 2009 Bottle: After drinking it I found out it is from AB, so no preconception. Starts strong nice malty and citrus aroma and taste, finish is flat. But glad to see this innovation and creativity. Foods Pairing: Ceviche. beerwolf77 (42), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Jul 28, 2009 I’ve been avoiding this beer ever since I saw it. I was afraid I would like it and have to support the BMC juggernauts. Well this was offered to me free so I couldn’t refuse. It looks good outta the gate. Nice orange color with 2 inch head. The smell was very fruity dominated by orange citrus. The taste wasn’t that bad ( S#%T!) I knew it. Fruity wheat beers just get me. I could see poundin a few of these but I won’t allow myself to be tempted by the evil AB empire.
Gurst (338), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA Jul 26, 2009 Light coriander and cracker flavors dominate; that is to say not very flavorful. Some citrus (I suppose it would be orange but it didn’t taste particularly orangey) and yeast in the aftertaste. Nice crispness. Body is light. yespr (11645), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jul 23, 2009 12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Light peachy fruity hops aroma. Ild spiced and hops fruity flavoured. Bitter and mild fruity flavoured. Dry, bitter and slight cornish finish. Micromax (8), Naperville, Illinois, USA does not count Jul 22, 2009 Citrus taste, almost tart. Decent head when poured doesn’t last. Tired of beers served with fruit. skoll (123), Traverse City, Michigan, USA Jul 22, 2009 Shock top is compeating with blue moon, No it is competing with Bells Oberon, this one is good but still second to Bells. Bottle, pours hazy orange light head that disapates fast. Overweling orange and citrus flavor with that yeasty after taste. Good beer all in all.
